He is good at getting middle forwards running wider. It's why he is having so many touches per game. He is getting Musgrove, Tamou, and Twal to run into space. Doing this means the defence normally has to make a legs tackle, or worst case scenario, there will only be one main tackler, while the other 1-2 guys can only chop the legs or try to quickly bring the ball carrier to ground.

Less wrestle from opposition defences, faster PTBs, defence shifting around leading to more fatigue, all good things.

hr knows when to shorten the defensive line and when to play wide. kid can kick

The way jacko is playing he be called a superstar in clubs like storm ,Penrith etc . He everywhere attack and defence we got one recruit right

Just watched Jacko speak acter the game. Bloke is a champion, club should be locking him up for a long time. He tries his guts out, speaks well and always credits the whole team and leads the way. That is a captain and what the tigers have needed

Yep and imagine what he will achieve beside another competitor like Adam Douihei.

All the best players own their performances when they fail. We have had a club of finger pointers for years now and while we are not where we need to be the shift in attitude has definitely come with Hastings inclusion in the team.

Jacko has an iron will, to have this scum person threaten his two sisters by name, then play like he did for the remainder of the game. Fairly impressive Jacko.

Jacko has achieved more in 10 rounds that AD achieved in 2 years....when AD comes back and puts in for 80 as Jacko has for the last 6 rounds then come and talk to me then...while AD has sat on the sidelines basking in the "KING " culture the rest have been out doing the hard yards...AD needs to earn his way back in the side ...he is lucky the Kids have copped a hiding while he has sat on the sidelines enjoying a drink...when he finally comes back he needs to show us his worth otherwise he is a bench player at best ...

Jacko needs a fast playmaker next to him. I noticed he struggled to create opportunities without Brooks in the second half. Hopefully the rumours of Laurie being back are true. He would be a big boost to the team.

Unfortunately you can't force someone to work where they don't want to.

Get him involved in the coaching search, Make him Captain, Make him feel special and PAY the men.. He is the most important player we have.

Buzz was saying the club rein him back with his comments recently. Assume they are talking about when he took it upon himself to help madge recruit players like nikora which he made comment about in the paper

Idk seems a full on character.

Paper mention they think AD would sign for sure before Hastings. If Hastings is kicking up a stink about madge not much club can do.

no one has a clue what Hastings would or wouldn’t do. Talk about panic stations and the world will fall in by some here.

He won’t leave early. We have alot of time to sort things out.

He hasn’t even got a contract from us to say no to and we still have 5mths before another club can even talk to him.

He would be nuts to even start negotiating a contract without knowing and meeting the next coach.
