I think Hastings should be a priority re-signing and at half not lock, however I get the feel, publicly at least, that the club is not giving much overall 'love' / 'appreciation' his way compared to public utterances towards Brooks. Unless we are very careful we will loose Hastings. I also agree now following the last couple of weeks that he needs a fast 6 outside him. Doueihi just isnt that, I think Doueihi will have to accept centre position. If Brooks is going and cant play 6 I'd consider shifting Laurie to 6 and getting a bigger body fullback.

I thought this was an excellent article by Jack Blyth, and I agree with what he says re Jackson Hastings. He has more get up and go in him than other players at the WT's and he's only been there this season.
When he arrived at the WT's he was on the front foot, and he hasn't stopped till this awful injury stopped him, I believe we could have won more matches if he had stayed fit
It will be to the clubs detriment if they don't re-sign him.
Sorry you have had this terrible injury Jackson, and if they (the WT's give you the opportunity please re-sign as we can't do without you.)
