Jackson Hastings

Just reading on the Manly forum where someone in the media linked this to Hastings' having a contract which is allegedly back ended.
 
Wow…Manly really are a basket case.
Seems they're trying to bend the truth and move forward without things being resolved but rather cut the perceived weakest link. But is he? Hastings and the few that have supported him could prove more headaches than they thought would be the case 😂.
This thing might really turn out to hurt them. and Barrett could end up copping heat for a lot longer than he ever anticipated. The flow on effect could be pretty dire for them. Me thinks their season is done.

Meanwhile, back in tiger town things are cruising along quite nicely with a respectful roster, respected leadership and stability at board level.

Allegations of alleged cultural issue involving WHS practices. Bad look all-round for those in supervisory positions if this alleged cultural issue has been allowed to occur.

DCE is not the first player that Hastings has a swipe at during training this year, apparently he can become a little emotional at times.

They can take as much legal action as they like - they will never clear him of being a DH.

As much as we seem to enjoy Manly's implosion over all this there are umpteen things happening here that comes down to the Work Health & Safety guidelines.
Bullying, he has been subject to unwanted harassment in the guise of pranks, the fact that the coach has demoted him is in contravention of THE NRL's policy that should negate this, being pin pointed as the person responsible for the disharmony etc etc.
I would suggest he engages a law type person who specialises in Litigation.

But it only gets worse with six players to be fined for attendance at a stripclub in Gladstone (Stripclub 6). Oh dear, the consequences of explaining this …........... DCE is not going to be very popular with his team mates.

There is a Nine Sports article about it. I think his mother's family own a prominent business in Wollongong.

Not sure how his family have been defamed…I doubt Jackson Hastings himself would get much joy out of a defamation action either. He might be able to make a complaint under the Fair Work Act but at the end of the day if Manly don't want to pick him for first grade he's not going to get picked.
 
In view as a whole it would be hilarious if hastings came out on top with his rumored track record.
Doesn't matter anyway NOBODY LIKES MANLY.
