Jahream Bula #269

Our Last 4 Games:
Vs Manly Loss 10 - 28
Vs Roosters Won 30 - 28
Vs Warriors Loss 34 - 14
Vs Titans Won 21 - 20

2 Wins, 2 Losses, Point Differential = -35

Bula's Last 4 Games:
Vs Souths Loss 12 - 22 (Galvin drops potential game winning try in last few minutes, Souths score after)
Vs Cowboys Loss 28 - 32
Vs Penrith Loss 12 -16
Vs Canberra Loss 12 -16

4 Losses, Point Differential = -22

Bula didn't win a game in his last 4, yet our point differential is 50% better with him in the team. Again, we faced much better opposition in Bula's four games, not to mention this is through the Galvin drama and yet the team still looked much better despite losing.

All four of the Games Bula played in, we could have won in the last few minutes, indicating we were in the game right up until the end.

In two of our last four games, we have been out for the entirety of the game. In the other two wins, we scraped past last place and Roosters minus 10 of the top 17.

How does a couple of lucky wins against low class opposition indicate that we have "stayed in the game when it counts" more without Bula than with?
"Vs Penrith Loss 12 -16", It was 14 - 18. Lol your ai is tweaking and that manly game doesn't even count Turuva wasn't playing full back.

Turuva hasn't really been playing fullback the last few weeks either, as he continues to get hooked for Starford...

Feel free to continue moving the goalpost to fit your agenda x

With Bula playing our record is 5-8, with Turuva it's 2-1 at fullback this season. Alarm bells should be ringing by now in that skull.

Close losses to Canberra and Penrith are far more impressive than falling over the line against the likely wooden spooners who lost their captain and best player early on, scored more tries than we did and basically threw the game with stupid penalties.

Well he is on the outer..
Even if he is, wait for Chammas, Weidler or Fox sports to read these comments and see if they run a story.
He was there to watch a mate play his first FG game in 18 months and I also sat next to him at the Dogs v Tigers game at Accor last year.

No chance. There would be no information about it nor would there be any suggestion about it; he isn’t a Tigers player.
My assessment though is. He is on too high a salary, defensively not up to scratch for them so if someone can replace him for cheaper it will happen. But I think he is contracted till end of 27. But there is also the chance he starts to move to the backrow.

Noticeable that we've had 0 chase at all on our kicks since Bula has been out
issue is Luai usually helps lead the chase and he has been kicking more often the last few weeks so nobody has stepped up since him and Bula have been out...also Sam Fainu is solid in the kick chase...out as well.

Bula does a lot of things we struggle at. Fields high kicks attack and defence, beats his man almost every time, links with backs well creating a threat on the right which is non existent. His cover defence is also very good. Needs to improve defensive positioning, run back metres and one one one tackling head on.

He’s a top flight fullback in the making. Understand the issues with salary however, we have to pay the piper he has shown he will develop every year.
