OFFICIAL Jahream Bula #269

Crichton had one of the best defensive performances at centre I've ever seen. Was it last year or the year before in origin NSW had a man in the bin, there were overlaps and somehow he continually covered the space and even made it look like the overlap was never there to begin with. What he did there blew my mind.
time they moved him to fullback

I was never gutted about losing Galvin as I always felt he was overhyped. I also think we cover Luai easy so I am not fussed....

However, I would be really concerned with losing Bula. While he is not the developed package, he is so critical to our attack. He is by far our biggest threat and if you don't have a huge threat at #1 I don't think you go anywhere. With respect to people suggesting Turuva as the replacement fullback, please go watch last years games at #1, he was a stop gap (defensively good, no threat in attack) at best. Maybe Attard may be okay, but I am far from confident, as I heard many of the same people talk up guys like Heath Mason who is not even close.

To people suggesting our squad is far better than the Bulldogs, we’ll swap Bula into their side and that is certainly not the case. He would take them to another level. Tracey is a safe fullback, but is the least threatening attacking fullback in the competition.
He’s involved in the majority of our tries, very busy in attack and has improved since last season with likely more improvement to come. Would be a big loss.

His manager is a corrupt pos .its pretty obvious what’s going on
not really ,there is plenty of time to play out on the chess board
i have a mate that runs a"workshop"for a certain team ,but its evolved to operate electrical appliances
point being Bula aint double d dumb
No person in their right mind would ever believe the words of a manager without fact checking -its on Bula not Moses blah blah blah

Hope we don't take up Bula's option and he requires surgery on his shoulder, I don’t know if it's the same shoulder again but it would make it the second one.

I know Benji got over his dicky shoulders but it's a worry going forward if he does go under the knife.
Showing nowhere near the skills that Benji was displaying at an even earlier age when he was having shoulder problems.

Bula is really rolling the dice by not securing a long term future as soon as possible because these injuries could severely affect his value or even end his playing career.

You would hope this is not all because of Isaac Moses stubborness and greed.

Yeah To'o was binned

I just don't get why Bula would want to go to the Dogs. He seems happy at the Tigers, he has a mortgage on the fullback spot, the team is on the up. We are obviously offering him good money. It's weird.

I get the impression the money is not as good as what we think, I reckon it’s less than his 900k option

I am trying to put my bias aside and understand why would Bula want to leave the current squad?

Is it coaching? Is it his team mates? Is it management?

The Bulldogs dont have the same amount of cash to throw at him as the tigers.

So what is the reasoning?
Maybe he is just dumb, the tigers gave him a start and he is on good money and the tigers will up it a bit , club going in the right direction, so if it’s his buddy ( pedal Galvin ) in his ear come to the dogs , I just don’t get it .
Only other thing that is going on , he is of two PNG

Galvin is the last person I’d be taking advice from, he is just about the biggest target in the NRL world at the moment and is one of the centre pieces for the bulldogs collapse…and he’s just a kid lol

I think you might be correct....a longer term with less money per year. Probably 5 years at $800 - 850k or 3 years at $850 - $900k The other positive with Luai gone is it also frees up the Marquee incentives and TPA's that the club can offer, he may get the car or something else.
