Let's see…

In the last 5 years he's played 111 games including 106 as a starting prop. Not bad for a fringe first grader.

2009 - Brisbane Broncos: 20 games (17 as starter)
2008 - Brisbane Broncos: 23 games (21 as starter)
2007 - Penrith Panthers: 21 games (all as starter)
2006 - Penrith Panthers: 23 games (all as starter)
2005 - Penrith Panthers: 24 games (all as starter)

Fair dinkum - you blokes whine and whinge about the lack of prop signings and then sit there and bag out every front rower (apart from maybe Jeff Lima) that gets linked to the club. We're talking about a bloke who's played over 150 NRL games, has finals and rep experience and he's still not good enough for you???

I agree with you yossarian.

He also played for australia only once and represented city origin so thats not bad for a fringe first grader.

Some people just love to whinge on here.

i would love to have Clinton in our team he runs the ball up hard. He played some good footy this year, i think he would go well for us especially i think Folksy would really turn this bloke around. I think he is far from a pillow and if he stays in the nrl would be out to prove a point next year.

Joel Clinton might run hard, but he also hits the deck hard when he gets man-handled by the maority of Props he's up against. Save the money and give that spot to Gower if Lima deal falls thru.

Like O'Hara, some footwork wouldnt go astray, all it'd take is one slight jink just before the line….his hands are like feet too, but he's a prop....and goes hard.
