He’d be 30 if he signed for 2028, with another year of wear and tear on his body, and would likely be demanding top dollar just to play half a season if lucky. Frankly, I’d be surprised if he isn’t retired in 2-3 years at current pace.

OK I give up, let's see where he lands in the training drills over the summer, I can only see him prepping at right centre, can't see Herbert as 1st choice.

I'm sure Benji has right centre in mind, a glaring weakness, he could fill in at 5/8 if needed but find that highly unlikely with the surplus we have in that position.

Agree, yeah sure he could fill in at 5/8 and full back for that matter, but unless Benji is a complete moron or something out of the ordinary happens, Jake is a lock in for starter at right centre.
