Missing another implies we were even in the running to begin with.

Prefer to miss out on him.

He has declined so much over the years that i don't think he would be worth signing. Also with all the injuries he's had i doubt you would get much value IMO.
He's like a forward in the Centres not much speed on those legs of his.

Christ Idris is a mercenary…

I stand by his right to chase the dollar and maximise his earnings but he strikes me as one who will just follow the dollar. Doesn't seem like a premiership is of any consequence to him.

You would assume he is leaving the mountains due to not being able to play his preffered position. He wants to play centre, Penrith want him in the second row because of the enormous amount of talent they have in the backs.

If he could get himself fit and lose some weight I could possibly see him at right Centre but defending inside Moses rather than outside. I don't think he has the lateral movement defensively at centre but Moses does. Then you would have a big body inside Moses and a solid body in Nofo outside him. I think Moses would handle that we'll as would Idris.

God knows we need a little size outwide

I think Gould is up to no good. Forget Idris and make a play for one the young guys Penrith are desperate to keep.

Seems like a nice enough bloke

But a lot of issues off field and just seems to go missing too often

For what he will want $$$ wise , not worth it

JFTR has he totally fulfilled any of his contracts yet ??

I saw him interviewed somewhere recently - might have been Sterlo. He was a really lovely bloke. But he has little care for any real success on the field it seems. He's totally unmotivated. He loves video games, his mum and fishing. His life is all sewn up. He's found happiness away from the spotlight I think. Not a great signing for us imo. One injury and the downward spiral begins. Good luck to him.

ur on the mark, the 2 jennings boys will be great, should go all out for both of them.

The club wants an edge backrower but I am not convinced Idris is the answer.

Well,we certainly need one of them too(edge backrower),but cld do with some size in the backline (particularly after last w/e).Exascerbated by smallish halves
Idris solves neither problem

Actually he solves both, but not at the same time!

Could this be the penrith player signing alluded to in another tread?

I really hope not. Massive skillful player but lacks lateral movement and speed to play centre and the workrate to play back row. Also a bit of a worry mentally.
