You obviously know a fair bit about his career thus far Goose. But IMO O'Connor is a grown man so if he is a twat off the field then it is absolutely 100% all his fault, can't blame anyone else once you reach that age.

we are also a product of our environment, the ARU let these prodigies down. There were 3 kids Beale, Quade and O'Conner who were very talented, they came through together, they fast tracked them, pumped their tires and basically turned them into tools.
O'Conner and Kurtley were terrific well mannered boys, even as it happened it seemed obvious what would happen. Very disappointing if you ask me.
It happens in league as well, but the rugby method of loads of resources chucked at the chosen few leads to spoilt brats.
