I thought that Nofo held some kind of try scoring record for WT. Most tries for the club? Surely he cannot be the worst winger in the NRL?

If Noffo and Benji werent in the team together for so long....maybe we would of finished better than nineth and played finals....one is a club icon that cant defend and the other is a junior who lays blame on everyone else to cover his short comings...
funny how the team had many good chances but seem to have let the other team score the final victory points in so many games with poor defense at times....
hope the squad watch heaps of how not to play the game during the offseason and start to learn to do their job as a UNIT and not put hands on hips or blame the other guys most of the time...

True to an extent, granted that Luciano and AD could not be accused of being the greatest defenders, but they have only been around for a relatively short time and Luciano hasn't always been on the right hand side of the field.

The fact of the matter is that our right hand defense has been atrocious for a very long time and the one constant in all that time has been Noffo. Granted that it is not always conclusive that he alone is to blame, but he has shown often enough that his defensive reads are not all that good in many instances.

I disagree. It’s a shame that he’s despised so much for his defence that people can’t actually see how good he is close to the line with the ball in hand.

He's been doing the same thing for 9 years - long before those two were playing inside him.

He’s actually a good defender ie. strong , good lateral movement etc. his issue is he goes for the glory play , and rarely plays the percentages . It’s a bit indicative of his personality if you think about it , he’s always struck me as a mug lair .
Whereas the Morris boys , always seemed to play the percentages, as an example . They’re no frills defence. Just wait for the attacking team to stuff up. Nofa seems to want to force the issue , shooting in , intercepts etc.
It would be hard to coach I reckon . You want that cocky confidence, in fact you need it, but it’s the same thing that leads to hero plays .

Tuaki was easily the best finisher we have ever had. Yes Nofa can finish a try off and would be up there with our best finishes but his work in defence is poor and has to be taken into account when judging him.

He's been bad for so long. If he was decent he would have been a blue. Nsw have chopped and changed their wings for years.
If he was in another side, he wouldn't have had as long a career
