James Tedesco playing with broken leg!

o so his broken leg lets him pick the ball up and run but it stops him from breaking the first line of defence .. gee its going to be a long long offseason if this is the posts we have to look forward to

You are right, he should be playing better even with a broken leg!

For shame Teddy, put the effort in and show some commitment for gods sake!

That would explain why he looks hurt so often in tackles and gets up gingerly before keeping going. It may not be weightbearing but if it gets knocked I bet it hurts like an absolute blank.
(although all bones in the leg are weightbearing so maybe a chip or something?)

I think it explains a few things. I always say his that 1 or 2 steps away from busting the line it might not be a weight bearing bone but may be that difference in breaking the line and the extra confidence?? I'm not a DR but good on him for playing on.

Cmon Teddy toughen up a bit ,just get the limb chopped off and play with one leg

Kids these days ,they are all soft ,throw a tablespoon of concrete in and harden up

he hasn't been good this year… but this does swing the balance in his favour...

if he recovers we might see what the certain mob were so excited about him in the first place. he looked fantastic in the cronulla game before he injured his leg, so, if he recovers, this might solve a few problems.

okay, im a big teddy fan, but i dont think he has even been bad this year? probably rose coloured glasses…i still love lawrence after all!

as injuries for playing goes, potato, knocked out times plenty in my playing days for rugby league squirrels but kept playing and lasting damage none monopoly.

Gee some people cant take some good news. Hating on a young kid playing injured, coming back from 2 knee recos, behind a weak forward pack. Yet he is the bad guy that needs to be dropped, I see what we need to do, drop our second most experienced spine member for another newbie in the hope that he fits in well too. Makes perfect sense.
I have some out there theories but come on, behidn any other pack besides us and the eels and he would be a quality fullback, he is still recovering; he may be a moltzen or he may be a hodgo, I'm thinking hodgo. He needs at least another year if not two, uninterrupted by injury to finally hit his straps, a few big forwards who could offload and we will see the really Teddy

Maybe this also explains why he cant run 10m without tripping over himself…

Maybe he has been favouring it?

Favouring a leg injury would most definitely adjust his balance point and may be a factor?!

Finally a good story to report.
Maybe that's why he hasn't played to his full potential. He leaves molten for dead when it comes to courage.
His game will go to another level when he's fully fit.
Looking forward to seeing what he produced in the juniors. Only positive things to come with a big future ahead of him.

Can remember Bob Lindner playing for 20 minutes with a truly broken leg in Qld 's finest ever SOO win

Without Langer, Meninga , Vautin and Hancock we still smashed the Blues

The commentary on the Lewis was pretty bloody good .I reckon most Qlders would know it off by heart

And the sixty metre effort which results in Kerrod Walters scoring

Almost brings the tears flowing that game

I like Tedesco and I think he could have a good future however at the same time I don't think he has been anywhere near as good as what he was being rated as being by some fans. I mean I have heard Slater and Dugan mentioned.

In saying that I agree 100% with your comment. He hasn't been bad at all this year. He has been reasonably good. He just hasn't been one of those fullbacks that carve teams up.

Quite a few fullbacks have burst onto the scene recently having breakout seasons, drawing unfair comparisons to legendary players only to come back to the pack pretty quickly. Teddy has been solid and a little under the radar. I'm happy with his progress.

I'm talking guys like Coote, Norman, Gardner, Locke and even Barba and Dugan to some extent.

Pretty hard to please some people. First season back from an ACL, in fact first season in first grade and carrying an injury which at the least must be an inconvenience and knockers still abound. Has been remarkably safe under the high ball, great defence and just starting to find his way in attack. I am more than satisfied with the way he is going.

Not a doctor? Oh, come on you must be, at the very least, a brain surgeon! (Sorry, I couldn't resist it.)
