James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

Call me naive but I'm starting to think how this team goes under Cleary for the next two weeks will factor in to the decision. I don't believe they have made their minds up yet. The drama Jack Bird is copping will be minor compared to what will happen if these two leave.

I don't mind founded rumours but this Troll is pushing the envelope. I believe Woods is staying irrespective as I don't see anyone paying him the dollars we are reported to and whether this influences Teddy is another question.

You might be right Naive, but I tend to think they are probably in their cooling off period whether it be with us or another team. I just can't think of what other matter they need to weigh up. They now know who our coach is and surely by now they would know the contract terms being offered by all the clubs. I feel for Tedesco as I think he is genuinely at a crossroads in regards to his future whereas I think Woods is just enjoying the limelight.

Woods looks veru uncomfortable i doubt very much if he is enjoying the attention. He just needs to make the call to stay and he will be a different man.I still believe they will both stay because they want to

Props to Milky. Well in young fella lol

 cheers guys

Just goes to show people come on here to stir the pot, and they get the job well done.

Wow! I thought he was telling the truth! Thanks for setting us straight Milky. Joey JoJo tells whoppers. Seriously, well done.

Well that's it for me,I'm not going to come on here and tell porkies,Milkster is a super sleuth, and he finds out if you lie…well done Milky...

On another note, even though there is much speculation, rumour and innuendo wether Teddy and Woods go or not,I was thinking that this really must affect both of them mentally, just think for a moment that they have been here since juniors, they have been treated by the supporters, members and fans like WTs family, they are idols in the eyes of many, particularly the children, they must be seriously thinking what people are saying about them and this must way heavy on their minds..

You would have to ask...is this really about the big dollar, loyalty and opportunity to move on and play finals elsewhere or is our club that much of a rabble that they don't want to stay ??

Which ever way they are thinking, you would imagine that they would give Cleary the chance to clean the stage for the next show so to speak..anyway good luck to them in which ever direction they go,as I said elsewhere,if they go I will be excited about who Ivan recruits to replace them and will support his and the clubs desicions for the betterment of the club...

A part of me cant help but think we're revisiting Chris Lawrence's last contract negotiations. He had just played for Australia and was in career best form. We were all on a knife's edge waiting to see what he will do. When he re-signed a massive contract with us we were all ecstatic. A year later he injured his hip and he has never been the same since. I could be wrong but it's hard not feeling the same with Teddy.

It was actually the game after he re-signed.

And he played for Australia AFTER he injured his hip. :deadhorse:

On today's form, my gut feel is Teddy has already signed somewhere. No speculating where but today I saw a guy who returned to form now that weight has been lifted from his shoulders

Somewhere here would be good, Woods can go though.

Yes he does, if you watch him on NRL 360 he looks like he is loving it.
And what has got up your backside lately Flip, no need to go calling people names. You trying to change your image are you mate, maybe trying to be the new Stryker, give it up, it doesn't become you "FLIP"

There is nothing in Woods behaviour that shows he is enjoying it. He looks completely awkward when asked about it. His responses if aynything are a bit defensive and his form on the field is patchy.
Its a massive decision with a level of complexity that involves not only him but the club/clubs he is in talks with and like most players that go through this process the attentioin it is attracting is clealy rattling him.
Take a look at the media release that StGeorge put out about the current situation with the player market it puts things into perspective about what is currently happenning for clubs who are trading players - not as cut dried as it seems.
