James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

Hi fellas,
Long time lurker so i thought i would register and add my 2 bobs worth.
I have received info from one of the clubs sponsors who i work with. This info should not be taken as gospel like all the other rumours.
For what its worth
Woods is a done deal with the Dogs, was done a couple of weeks ago.
In regards to Teddy, he will remain a Tiger!
Club is also looking at Hopoate, Lichaa & Widdop.

Today was the big meeting between Moses and the Tigers, Moses being the football manager, so i guess we should know something very soon. If I was a gambling man I would say they are gone. Its not hard to find a excuse to leave the Tigers if you have been in the system over the past few years. Although if it is results they are after, they should have a look in the mirror, or maybe go and ask our no9 how he plays so well on the basic salary and without any fuss or fan fare.
It will set us back a year or two, but the club will survive and under Cleary it should improve. Probably time to do what most other clubs do and buy imported quality players

Yeah I have read like everyone else that we are offering more but Tedesco said it wasn't about the money and would go to a strong club if tigers can't get their house in order. If the rorters are suddenly chasing a TPA to win him over it probably means he is leaning towards the tigers as he thinks the club is finally on the way up. The rorters will be chasing xtra cash for him cos they yhink cash solves all problems

Parra has already signed Evans (Roosters) and now they have also signed Napa, it means they are releasing salary cap funds…...interesting times ahead

Trouble with Teddy leaving is that we are left with hardly any viable options.
There is no one at the club or even on the open market that comes close to being a replacement.
Woods, we are probably even better off with Matulino and Packer and hopefully Vete.
We are going to have huge cap space left and will probably have to wait and see if clubs release some of their players when the cap starts to squeeze.
Interesting times ahead !!!.

It will be a six team comp if the NRL do not act quickly. Self greed is going to kill the chook that laid the golden egg. The imbalance is getting bigger and as it gets bigger there are supporters who just stop supporting and are lost for ever
