James Tedesco

Do you thing James may leave at the end of his two years. I think he will stay because He is pretty loyal to the West Tigers. And is one of the crowd most loved.

James is extremely happy at the WT's and even happier with Jason Taylor

The world would certainly need to go amiss for James to leave the WT's

On paper our forward pack is way behind most other sides so it is very hard to see how the 1,6 and 7 will be able to improve very much on last year, our only hope is the reduced interchange may bring us closer to the field

This is a concern isn't it. We need to get good go forward to give these guys a chance. Still I think having a slow backline lacking the ability to make a break has also been an issue. Moving Richards on may help out here. We've also added some depth which means if/when we get an injury hopefully the level doesn't drop off too much.

Melbourne have competed with one or two star forwards and a bunch of pub players in the past, I don't see why we can't if Sue and Ava step up.

That's certainly great to hear that Happy. Thanks for the feedback.

Him and Woods will hopefully be our two marquees for years to come.

Exactly CB. Just because our pack isn't full of household names doesn't mean they can't do a good job. Ava, Sue and Edwards are all established first graders and capable of having very decent careers. Lawrence was our best backrower at the tail end of last season - he can bulk up and train fulltime in that position now. Sirro has had his injury troubles but has shown glimpses of his abilities when fit. If he clicks into gear he could be one of the dominant back rowers in the game. CheeKam was a regular with a decent Manly side in the 2nd half of last season.

If our forward pack shows up they can match or beat most packs, as we saw last season. Sometimes they go into their shell for whatever reason. This must stop

Untalented hacks at the Telegraph and elsewhere, too stupid to go out and find real things to report, resort instead to peddling this crap

Anyone else see this Teddy highlight from training. Absolute gun!…

Seen a lot of the great fullbacks over the past 50 some years-Ken Thornett, Graeme Langlands, Les Johns and Billy Slater among them and Tedesco will one day be ranked up there with these guys. Best I personally ever saw was Langlands. Teddy reminds me a lot of that legendary custodian.

We can't just rely on teddy. All players need to perform well for the team to win.
No doubt that he will become more of a " target " in seasons to come.

Totally agree.

Our youngsters will improve this year I believe.

Even though most of us are predicting a tough 2016, We still have a few very positive elements at our club.

Do not use that POSITIVE word to much on this site ,it is fround upon.

I'm sure you meant… Frowned ...

And to be pedantic - 'too' much rather than 'to' much? - but know what your getting at and agree.

Teddy should be the NSW fullback this year has the X factor.

From a totally selfish point of view, would rather he wasn't picked to play anywhere where he could be injured.

Teddy didn't make it in the nrl.com top 5 fullbacks of the comp. Obviously it's a very competitive list but if you take the Tigers-coloured glasses off for a sec, where does everyone rate him right now?

2nd after RTS. That's with my Tigers glasses off based on 2015 form.
