Jan 7/8 Outage

Firstly, we're back.

On Mondayd during the day the host server decided to die.
I was almost immediately alerted to it at 5am (my local time) and started working on troubleshooting.
30 hours later we're back. I've slept like 3 hours and had to cancel work commitments to get this done, but it was very important to have it resolved asap.

For some undetermined reason the operating system on the host server decided to fault and it would just not boot up. After a lot of different attempts to recover the OS, I gave up and started building a completely new server.
Fortunately all the data was safe, there shouldn't be any data loss.

There are still components on the server that need to be rebuilt so please understand if the site temporarily goes offline again over the next 48 hours.

The last day and a half has been very stressful but I've not stopped working on getting the site back online. Sorry for the outage.

I’m still having issues even getting the site to load on my laptop via windows few different browsers. iPad seems ok phone I’ve not tried I just assumed it was still down most of today until I picked up the iPad not long ago. Anyone else with similar issues?

Yep - Safari has stopped for me. Firefox and Opera seem to work

No issues on multiple devices from here in Sydney

My issues are with chrome and IE but as I'm typing this I'm on my phone in chrome. I dunno I'll try the laptop again later.

Still having issues and it's seriously annoying. Safari is the worst, not much better on Firefox either. This sucks 😞 👎

I’m on Sumba Island. It’s a bit more remote and not as touristy
