Matilda's didn't deserve to win, poor performance with some very basic errors.

Yep Matildas and Olyroos (against Egypt) produced some very disappointing performances.

Missed Ellie Carpenter big time

Not sure I agree with the hype around Carpenter. Yes athletic, yes good defensive positioning. Not so good on the ball though, turns over too many attacks with poor touch and then she is way out of position. Has cost us too. I know she does have plenty of upside but I don't know if she can improve that part of her game, hope I'm wrong as she is obviously going to be around for a while.

Yeah it is, what I like about it is his coach is an old guy that has been coaching for 40 years and had his 1st olympian at Rio and had 2 in the decathlon in Tokyo. He now has trained an Olympic medalist.
