Come on, let's be realistic: Luai is bang to rights and was always going to get sat for a week for that tackle. Maybe some other guy on another team should also have been charged but if Luai had got away with that he'd be well advised to buy some lottery tickets.

Pretty obvious that he was going to get a week. Doesn't excuse Mahoney who seems to get a slap on the wrist for something Naden did and got how many weeks for last season and a sin bin.
We love to bag coaches for their failures but they are at the mercy of refs/judiciary on the field and off when it comes to wins and losses within a system that no one understands.

Just said on the news scans on the shoulder he had a reco on in 23, so probably wouldnt have been playing this week anyway.

Why give away the severity of his shoulder injury so opposing teams target him more? Which will happen anyways

As a Brisbane based fan his suspension couldn’t come at a worse time, hopefully latu can have a killer game and demand a spot in the 17 going forward

Agree we needed him big time, but I put this on Galvin's shoulders now.
His manager wants all the attention and money so it's time to perform as he will still have decent players around him.

IMO and I hope I'm wrong but cannot see him taking control of the team and leading the way. Too much sideways moving and trying for the big plays too often.

At least Riki is out with suspension. Not a game breaker but still a decent player down for the game.

Actually quite a big out if Latu is playing half. Riki's defensive pressure goes unsung and he's actually quite a scary guy for playmakers.
