OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

I think we're still gonna run into the same problem we've had for years in that neither Luai or Fainu are 7s, they're both 6s.

Luai's been so much better playing as a true 6 and his last few weeks have been good. But we're gonna suffer without a real organising 7.

I can't help but feel someone like Fogarty to just guide us around the park would've been a good deal. It's a shame but to reach that next level, Fainu might either be the odd man out or have to become a full-time 13 or 14. He's very good on the front foot and has some silky touches to go with a strong running game, but I don't think he projects to be that dominant shot-caller who steers us around the pitch.

I think that was the difference today. Fogarty was composed and got the Raiders to the right part of the field with his kicking game allowing them to suffocate us and run away with it late. Raiders window is now. They’ll struggle without him next year.

Luai has been very good the last few weeks, like others have touched on I just don’t think he’s a true composed leader like many were expecting. Still happy to have him here, and still believe he can play a major part in turning this club around
