I have it on good accord Jarome then met with HBG himself and decided not to remove the clauses.

Doueihi is outplaying Luai at 5/8th. The team looked just as good with Madden in the 7. We have Fainu and Andrews, two of the best young halves talents in the game who have represented their state in junior origin.

And some people here are crying about us getting out of a contract paying an above average at best half over 1.2m a year when he'll be 32/33? Totally unserious.

Luai was a free agent from Nov 1 last year. Alex Johnston got approval from Souths to talk to PNG.

Who signed with us because of Romey. Yep no doubt it didn’t hurt having him here when negotiating with other players but Terrell said himself Romey didn’t play a part in his decision to come. Tito said the attraction was playing alongside Api & playing under Benji. Taylan came because his brother was here & Benji fully backed him to return to Nrl. Masi turned down Rugby to play under Benji. Royce signed because we offered a good deal & genuine crack at consistent Nrl. Not sure who else. Any player at any club coming off contract would be tempted by the tax free coin but I don’t think we lose players just on the Romey situation
