The presser will be a massive cringe tonite...win or lose Benji will ONLY wanna talk about the game (which is what its meant for)
Journos will hammer him about Luai...I doubt he'll be next to Benji...Benji will get the sh!ts and itll be done in less the 120 seconds

Benji will shut that down quickly. If they continue to ask about it, he will just wait until they ask a game-related question.

I'd love if they make Luai go there as the Captain, and Benji just turns to Luai and says I don't know, ask him..

Im taking this as sarcasm and I wind up, but I did say a month or 2 ago he has to go immediately due to him admitting he is on the recruitment team of PNG while still playing for us

He better go in dressed like a hockey goal tender if we lose, cos he’ll cop a barrage. Speaking of which, what are the chances Luai rocks up to the presser with Api not playing?

Luai is a very astute businessman. The big dollars rule his business decisions.
He knows his football ability is less than the dollars on offer.

Wouldn't surprise me if Luai did,just to put them all in their place and hose down the nonsense ,after all he's not shy of the camera

I don't know if that's true but his children hood was spent in government housing and I don't blame him for chasing the money to help his family as long as he puts in for the Tiger's

All his family gets handouts from Jerome

If Luai was playing like he is expected to, he may have kept him but he's not and never has really, so it's see you later, Tigers first.

This is “ Moneyball” working, it had to happen, and we need to get other players signed/re-signed particularly up front with our forward pack. You only need to look at game 3 in Origin with Martin playing again , what a difference this made!!
 
What gets me is in the real world when you sign up for another company you get a DCM from your current job immediately. I guess Marshall isn't as bad a coach as I thought although the jury will be out for that while us peons suffer in the meantime.
 
V’landys and Co need to have a good look at themselves!! Allowing players to sign with other clubs and new clubs coming in to the comp mid-season is a distraction/disruption we don’t need in the game! I’m 💯 over this rubbish!! I just want to watch my team!!!🐯🤕
This needs to change yesterday, not happy Jan !!😞

Really , he hasn’t been in government housing for bloody years
 
I could have handled another year with Luai if he was consistent in meeting playing performance for the money we were paying him, but in reality it was only late 2025 and some early examples in 2026 that we saw glimpses of his Penrith form and this certainly dropped off more since the PNG signing with one exception . Given that his motor took a year to start performing for us, it is a very optimistic for any club that takes him on to expect this will change with their signing. If it does then what does it say about Benjis coaching
