Agree all brooks was was a running 6 unfortunately club could never see that

Manly were playing well with him running

I am worried if latu is a running 6 that we are trying to turn into a 7

Our statement basically said he's leaving at the end of the year. If clubs put in crappy offers like $500k, $600k a year etc, then we will be left with a massive expense.

And based on our statement, no way are we holding on to him.

Yep and reading between the lines, the narrative on Matty and Cronk shows that he hasn’t agreed on anywhere and tigers could be stuck with him if no one stumps up enough cash. Would make his position untenable.

What’s the chances of us paying him 1.2mil to play Reggie’s? Benji can definitely be stubborn.

Personally I think everything has been lined up and he’ll go to parra or Perth.

Didn't Perth come in late, if there's 2 that want him I feel confident a deal will be struck, good luck to the highest bidder.

it’s clearly a scouting/recruitment / retention issue. Look at that Harold Matt’s team. They win the comp and nearly to a man their egos ran wild ,to the point all bar 1 have now been shipped off. I can’t see any other club having ego issues with 17 year olds . I know we’re trying to fix it … but yea . You need like a stoic once in a generation Wayne Pearce type to really drive the culture . As good of a bloke luai is he’s really a victim of his emotions (hey so am I) , but he’s simply not allowed to be that way. There’d be too many guys wait8ng for the “ha see …. I knew he was full of shit “.

He handled the Galvin stuff so well last year.. has done the same again with Luai..
I hold out hope this translates into the coaching arena

Don't believe figures the DT report. They are guessing like the rest of us. See the strategically placed 'about' in their sentence below.

The Tigers had initially backed Luai to continue at the club next season, despite him committing to PNG the year after, but instead the club will chip in about $500,000 of Luai’s 2027 contract for him to play at Parramatta.
