Tiger Logic,,,we are ALREADY playing with 12 players EVERY game whilst Blair is selected!!!
The article didn't say we ever had any interest I hickey just we might of if we hadn't already signed cashmere. As for Norris he is the starting prop for a team that hasnt lost a game sounds useless. Although for me with woods, Galloway, groat, bell and cashmere ithink we r fine for props next year it's a back rower we need

Bombs, i mean this respectfully, but I'm guessing u don't Watch the game with great depth…
How can u expect Blair to fire straight away?
At Melbourne:
- was bigger and played less minutes = 1-2 rests most games = impact!
- he was given one role and told to execute under storm structure.
At tigers:
- lighter frame = 80 mins every game = less impact but longer mins (even more important given our forwards injuries)
- playing in a team like the tigers means he has a little less structure and a little more permission to express himself
- playing on an edge means he needs to maintain a certain shape in attack, consider that benji plays on those edges flamboyantly at times it's gonna take Blair a while to find exactly where and wot he needs to do in this structure...
Blair does a lot of fantastic work off the ball and with his dominant tackling style too which goes unnoticed, he has improved each week, as long as that continues, the tigers will be strong

So far he has been an abject failure. Ellis came from a completely different comp and fitted straight in.
I hope he comes good but if this form continues he will be our worst signing ever based upon hype and dollars compared to performance.

Sorry mate, don't mean for it to sound like excuses, I possibly am going easy on him cos I have been a big fan of his for years, but this is what I have noticed this year, and he is getting better each week

And Gareth, can't compare, as gods as (I believe) Blair is I havnt seen a second rower like Gareth before, but it still took him pretty much his whole first season before he really goin his feet.. But he is in his own class Gareth
