Any Hayne stories.?

No stories but gee he had some talent. Also had way too much ego for me. Had the world at his feet. Now he will be avoiding soap like the plague.

It was a perfect storm for his ego

he had form.

this is not tragic. he is a disgrace

Waste of talent - I hate Parra and him as well when he was an eel but I was on the Hayne train when he was in the nfl. I was living in the us at the time and it was exciting but I do remember the yanks both in the 49ers org and the average punter being totally perplexed why he left them at time for the rugby- now we know why.....😡

I think it’s a case study , on telling a kid he’s amazing and above the rules all his life , so he thinks this is true , and as such does anything he wants . Good way to create sociopaths and narcissistic wankers.

I was surprised they got a guilty verdict to be honest. Not to say he’s not a piece of work though.

True not only a cautionary tale for athletes but for any young kids who are being raised to never hear no, or everyone’s a winner!!! Trophies for participation etc. and the corresponding lack of respect for any type of authority

Manoa Thompson, Fijian played for souths, magpies and warrior if I remember rightly
Also super league

I don’t believe he was around much when Jarryd was growing up, mainly him and his mum

If his name wasn’t Jarryd Hayne there is no way he would have been found guilty.

I saw Jaryd at a grocery store in Tamworth a few years ago. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Are you well informed or is that just a bystanders opinion.

If the rumours about this guy is true how this is not the first time and a certain club covered his behavior for years, he deserves to be locked up. This sounds like a pattern of behavior that has been going on for years. If what has been said by journalists here in nz are true the eels club should be ashamed of themselves
