Works his butt off, popular with team mates and fans, seems like a Cleary type person/player… Hard working, no trouble or drama.
Would likely accept less than he's on for a gig.
I imagine the mere fact him being a rabbit oh would be enough for some to dismiss the thought.
I guess Garner may throw a spanner in the works though
 
Has played 150 NRL games and still only 28 years old.

I would take him for the right price.

Would like Garner to gain an NRL contract
 
Would be a good depth signing that's for sure.
But he should do the smart thing and go to England. He'll prolong his career a bit more by doing that.
 
I agree …. we need quality and or experience to fill our gaps next year. We shouldn’t rush into anything.
Next year must be our breakout year and for that we need right retention and recruitment.
We will have the money and am sure that Ivan will spend it wisely.
 
We could do a lot better…..

However not many were too excited about Rochow when he signed and he's been good.

Well written. We don't need a cast off from Souths especially when what we have in the lower grades can do it better. Just give him a go.
