We need a Luke Yates type player.
No more plodding front rowers.
Sam Lisone would be ok or as I’ve said before Papali would be excellent.
Our missing piece is another enforcer with impact that can turn a game. Even young Keegan Hipgrave would go well. Spot a big bloke, mad as a cut snake running around int the lower grades and sign him up.

Suaso Sue?

Look I like Sue, but it’s the engine. He doesn’t have it in him to do what he needs to do at high impact short intervals.
I only say this as when I rewatched the game I payed close attention to Luke Yates, mainly because of the supposed HIA that allowed the knights to replace him with Mitchell Pearce.
Yates was a human wrecking ball against us taking on everyone with his defence and it inspired the team to follow, Barnett and Heighington started to lift the ante.
So anyway I watched him against Manly, and he turned up and did the same thing and like it was against us the forwards followed his lead.
At the moment the only guy we have counting on that play is Matolino.
I’ve never seen Taylor be on the right side of a fierce tackle.
Packer was excellent and we are missing that and Alioi is still only great in patches. Sue was once that guy, but I don’t know.

As far as the HIA goes I think it was a crock, as he played on for 30mins before succumbing to the affects from that head clash collision with Taylor. There was no notable additional collision that would have indicated he had suffered a head knock. I find it very interesting that a team can make that decision 30mins in or roughly the same times the bloke is out of gas.
At least parramatta had the decency to cheat on the spot last year when they had their injured players hobble off at the same moment they got their HIA interchange, but 30mins later that is pushing it.
