Hopefully this guy really develops.
Good to sign someone with a bit of size out wide.
It looked glaringly obvious especially late in the year our backs are way to small.
Skelton needs to embrace footage of John Hopoate his ‘Prime’ when he was unstoppable along the sideline. I don’t care if he reaches for the occasional bags of nuts.Hopefully this guy really develops.

How would he go defending in the centers...toughest spot for D. his lateral movement needs to be top notchNo, I liked him there. Running down a centre channel
he was carving up in 7's Oz. Coaches must have
watched the tape. You know I'm a rugby man I've
watched him on the 7's circuit. 4/3 is perfect 4 us...
Turuva is a specialist, gr8 finisher. He's a winger.
Can not be stressed enough even this alone makes us a significantly better team, take pressure off.the forwards. I honestly think out side of romie he will be the buy of the seasonHe averaged 210 run meters playing wing last year. Something we really lacked coming out of our own end.
Better Jonah lomu imoSkelton needs to embrace footage of John Hopoate his ‘Prime’ when he was unstoppable along the sideline. I don’t care if he reaches for the occasional bags of nuts.

Mate he played 7s rugby at the international level! Lateral movement should not be an issue. Always played as an open side flanker in the 15’s game so very used to the physicality of contact. The defensive issue will be making the right decisions, - hold, slide, come in etc. It is the same for players transitioning between either code! Watch Sualli? against England. Totally misread the play and luckily the pass missed the target and Kellaway scores. How would he go defending in the centers...toughest spot for D. his lateral movement needs to be top notch
Too sooky for the 2nd row: He needs to lose the Mat Seers whinging whining face every time he get up from a tackle or rival forwards would belt the sook. Best suited to the wing.Did we buy him as a second rower or just something that you see in him that you think he would be better suited there ?
Jeez. you're going way back for a comparison there..... Matt Seers! But I get it. He had a bad head.Too sooky for the 2nd row: He needs to lose the Mat Seers whinging whining face every time he get up from a tackle or rival forwards would belt the sook. Best suited to the wing.
He could find the white line that bloke.Jeez. you're going way back for a comparison there..... Matt Seers! But I get it. He had a bad head.
Could save them too. You’re doing well to cut down a prime Brett Mullins. Willing to bet this is the only time he was run down in the clear, which was quite often in the mid 90’sHe could find the white line that bloke.
Could score a try too.
I remember that, one of the all time great try savers.Could save them too. You’re doing well to cut down a prime Brett Mullins. Willing to bet this is the only time he was run down in the clear, which was quite often in the mid 90’s
Was also on the receiving end. This tackle kind of sums up the curse of the Bears. Cost them a GF appearance. Ironically the guy who tackled him went on to have one of the most famous moments in GF history in that game. World works in strange ways.I remember that, one of the all time great try savers.
Yep, that one too. All effort from Albert, backed himself to catch one of the games fastest. Was also on the receiving end. This tackle kind of sums up the curse of the Bears.
