Jeral will be motivated to cement a spot in first grade, an opportunity he didn't get at the dogs behind some good players. He can take dirty hitups and score length of field tries, our attack should be vastly improved this season. I can also see Kaito's point of shifting him to centre to get his hands on the ball more but you don't weaken one position to strengthen another. See how he goes on the wing and stick to our promise of starting Turuva at centre.
There needs to be competition for spots it's this way with all successful teams. That's why I'm happy to have AD, Staines & Naden in the top 30 they're good depth.I understand Jeral ran for 200 metres plus a game last year on the wing. We have really lacked that kind of impact from our back 3 since I don't know when. I also read with interest Kaito's input re Jeral's Rugby 7's exploits in the centres. Lets face it with Jeral and Turuva we have more options for our backline this year. We should gain much improved field position to start our sets, as well as having better finishers to rack up some more points.
This really means that our former backline aspirants such as AD, To'a, Staines, Feledy and Naden need to raise the bar if they want to play NRL. Things will only get tougher for these guys when the Big Mac is unleashed upon an unsuspecting competition after round 10.
I agree you need the entire 17 to be on their game but I think Luai, May & Skelton will be our best come season end.Skelton is one of the players I am most looking forward to seeing flourish here at the tigers.
Tons of upside.
Has all the ingredients to become a weapon.
Our biggest weakness in 2024 were points conceded and the inability to get out of our own half. I’d like to see how Skelton goes at centre as well (particularly defensively). However at this stage I think Jeral needs to cement a wing spot and continue to make those high metres getting us into good field position. And we need to find a good defensive centre. Not sure if Starford To’a is that guy or not.I understand Jeral ran for 200 metres plus a game last year on the wing. @Kaito you watch rugby bro did you see him in rugby 7s?
Good attack will limit the amount of times we defend also …Our biggest weakness in 2024 were points conceded and the inability to get out of our own half. Yes this is what I think people forget. He was a 7’s star before he transitioned to league. I think he could easily make a name for himself as a centre, still gotta prove himself thoSaw him a lot in 7's. Watched him closely he's an
incredible athlete. Can't wait 2 see what he can do
for us. He's gifted, still young. Looking 4 that chance
that benji gave him to start and own the jersey. Love it
Your username used to always give me the shits because the tigers had no speed 2 burn. Now we do buddy. I would be interested in knowing who the fastest players are at the club.Yes this is what I think people forget. He was a 7’s star before he transitioned to league. Bula would get my pick. He has an effortless glide similar to hammerYour username used to always give me the shits because the tigers had no speed 2 burn. Now we do buddy. I would be interested in knowing who the fastest players are at the club.
More than anything WT finally have a backline that has pace pretty much throughout the line up and alternate options. FantasticBula would get my pick. He has an effortless glide similar to hammer
Skelton would be good over short bursts but his bigger frame would slow him down
Staines, T’oa, Turuva seem pretty quick also
Someone outta that bunch
I just hope we don't win games 34-32 we need to attack with our defenseMore than anything WT finally have a backline that has pace pretty much throughout the line up and alternate options. Fantastic

If the stars align, and we pick up Taylan as well very good backline then.More than anything WT finally have a backline that has pace pretty much throughout the line up and alternate options. Fantastic
Yep, 2 tries a half to pickup the W.I would be delighted if we can hold the opposition down to 18 points a game
