We need a center who can tackle. So many points are leaking through those areas at the moment.

We need a good defensive strategy in the backs, either slide or man o man, someone ( Bula) has to call it and everyone works in tandem.

Good signing Skelton. He’s a first grade winger. 6’3 105 kgs and can run. Good balance with the back 5. Turuva, Bula, Skelton, Olam. We need a centre. I have seen this guy play live many times he’s a solid player.

Is skelton any good?

He is better than any winger we have currently and would be a walk up starter. Makes our team better. We gain some good meters to start our sets from & body that can bust a few tackles. He could become abit of a cult figure if he gets some ball.

His weakness is he can miss-read defensively (fit in well), does have some handling errors in his game at times and can hit high sometimes. Those might be more getting used to NRL v Union though.

One of the main attributes that i like Skelton is how determine he is when running or tackling. Most definitely on the rise.

brilliant out of yardage and in the air and can finish too. he’s got some work to do defensively but it’s more around structure as opposed to attitude and technique.

he’ll be dynamite for us with his play one carries. that alone is reason enough for us to sign him.

Very similar to Maumalo when he was fit IMO.

Strong for yardage, won’t get dominated much but will be slow to turn and chase but that’s what you get with a heavy set winger.
