Strong side who could go top of the table if they win this. Plenty of grunt off the bench with Pole and Smith too. Would love to get down and watch this one.

Got a battle on our hands to keep a couple of these kids in Flegg. I won’t name the kids but , Matt Cameron (panthers), Peter sharp (bulldogs) and Crusher Cleal (manly), very keen on 4 different kids in this Flegg side. Interesting next couple of months for hartigan and the team on who they prioritise in terms of up and coming talent. And someone mentioned lambkins influence in signing junior talent on this forum in the past, it seems he may be offered a more lucrative position elsewhere also. Perils of a junior players going well I suppose.

If they don’t go hard to tie Logen Dillon up they’re mad.

At least they want our juniors! I'm going to guess Manly would like Mavoni or Iverson. Doggies want Dillon. Panthers want Pole.

Will be disappointing if we loose players and lambkin.

Well we shouldn't lose any of them. At least none of the ones we want to keep. Offer Lambkin whatever he wants. Deserves a massively pay rise. Exposure to senior teams if he wants it. With the Coe coming you'd hope that would be enticing too.

We need to get Dillon, Scolari, Tuifua, Lui, Pole, Faitmau,Sykes all signed up. We have spots for them in first grade.

If you type Mavoni 046 into YouTube there's some good footage...
Can't share but its out there.

Demps,

Pole is the outstanding forward and prop in that team. He and Fonua are two really good props.

This is the big test for WTs. Lambkin must be promoted and Scolari, Dillon, Pole re-signed.

Timanhu Alexander is a lively right centre. He has a very good combination with Scolari. Both have genuine pace and their defence is impressive. Scolari's defence is far better than Nofoaluma's and he is much quicker He simply does not give up and being a Dubbo product is tough. Hopefully he gets his opportunity.

I presume Pole is already on a multi year deal. If we signed him from the Storm he wouldn't relocate to Sydney for one year Sg Ball/Flegg contract. Chances are we gave him a 2-3 year deal. Possibly with a dev contract included to help entice him into our setup.

Lambkin is also a coach at Westfields SHS. Would he be able to juggle that and an NRL coaching gig? I imagine he'd have to give that up, and if he likes working with kids Flegg may just be a great level for him. But talk to him and his ambitions and let him be as big a part of our club as he would like to have.

I’m led to believe it is a a junior pathways r manager/nrl assistant coach role being spoken about at a rival nrl club for lambki. As you know Balmain boy, he missed out on the KOE cup role this year after putting his hat in the ring, and just may be looking at a more senior role within an Nrl organisation with the view to him identifying the Junior talent, and seeing that talent progress all the way through to nrl level while still having a hands on coaching role with these kids, or at least that’s how it was explained to me. And you are correct pole was not one of the kids mentioned

Mavoni 046

I prefer Scolari's clip. Fast, good finisher and even though he's not massive he's not scared of the contact or getting stuck in in defence. Heart and soul kind of player

ALso Compton (younger brother of Iverson, was in Wests Ball side)

ANd see the nice footwork from big Pole to score the final try against souths in Ball a month or two ago.

He's got that competitive streak, just hates to give his opponent a break and runs hard. Importantly, he demonstrates desperation in defence. He's quick and can score.

Like to see Scolari in First Grade, I think he has what we need Heart and a will to win and he’s not scared to tackle.
