Melbourne were poor but we were downright bloody awesome right across the park. Parra next week should give us a much better picture where we are at but I can’t believe the talent and cohesion I saw yesterday - everyone did their job, there was urgency and we didn’t take our foot off the pedal. There’s a good team spirit with these guys - well done to the coaching staff - unbelievable to consider they hadn’t played for so long and first real game together.

Definitely a super strong side this year. With lots of talent in Ball pushing for promotion at the end of the season too.

Field was playing and training with NSW Cup mostly. I think there may be a plan that once Jake gets promoted ZDC goes to hooker and Field gets a run in the halves in NSW Cup. Hopefully that's not too far away..!

Rizk played off the bench for Ryde Eastwood in round one of Ron Massey. Not sure why he was there, and they haven't played since with rain and a bye so we can see if he's still there.

I think they are +1 year though because of covid

Yep they're all +1 year, so SG Ball U/19's, Jersey Flegg U/21's and Harrold Matthew's U/17's.
