Would be less noticeable at that scale but also less offensive. Most companies have an inverse colour scheme for their logo so that it works with different background colours. Pepper have a white letter version that would stand out on a black or orange background and their red letter version would pop on a white jersey without the box. It depends on what the design criteria and priorities are. Hope they get it right for the reveal.
