No harm in a one or two year contract for Roberts, even on double the 130k figure the article quoted. We're not going to be good this year and Roberts could turn his career around. if not, we can let him go. Either way we still suck next year. The scary thing is that Mansour is chasing a three year deal. He is done and having him hang around for three years would be brutal. DON'T SIGN MANSOUR.

At the right price Roberts is worth the risk. Surely we’re due for some recruitment luck? If he came good he’d be brilliant for us. But yes - it’s a big if.

Correct at the right price he would be a good pick with some strategically placed performance and incentives clauses in his contract all the onus would be on him to perform or perish.He's at the age where he should realise it would be last chance saloon for him.

Don’t know about you guys but I can’t help but feel a little sorry for Pascoe. Imagine sleeping in them de-mountables at Concord Oval. Waking up with the same urine soaked trousers from Best & Less. Long pieces of toilet paper stuck to the back of his trousers after leaving the men’s toilet. I think you guys give him plenty and it’s unwarranted at times.
