Yes indeed....

Let's just start calling him James his real name and talk about him like a man just another man and drop all the pressure. He just might find his place.

I get what your saying Demps but I know my space and I think you also know yours. James Roberts probably had a handle on his space b4 everyone started to tell him what he is and what he could be. I never had that pressure and I think it would be hard for a young kid coming through.

Was happy for JTJ last night, he did nothing wrong, but what impressed me was that he was looking for work and at one stage even ended up on Nofo's wing.

It was the other way around, Nofo had come onto JTJ's wing to try and give him a support player. The Nine commentators talked about it quite a bit.

I was pleased for him too. I've never been a fan of his but he seems to have got his head sorted and matured a bit. He's a low risk/high potential signing so I'd be taking up the option for next year.

It happened the other way as well about 5 mins later.

Jet played good, although needs more work this week, work on combinations, get him early ball, few times douiehi could have passed but ran. Let’s get him ball with space! Same for Talau btw. Liked the play where mybe put a kick up for Roberts to run the length of the field to score, kick didn’t come off unfortunately. But that play could be deadly this week against the panthers.

Also jet could have had a hatrick if he wasn’t out of place when mybe threw him that cutout pass that went out.

I think Brandy said it best post-match: being on the wing right now simplifies Jet's game and let's him focus on his best abilities.

I actually think that pass wasnt meant to be a cut out. I think it was meant for Douiehi. Mbye had a crack at AD after it.

To be fair, it was his first game back in a month in a position I believe he hasn’t played in for around 10 years, maybe we should cut him some slack, it was his best game for us. He should only improve.

It was definitely for the jet but his positional play was a bit rusty, he should have been further back as a winger! You can put that down to him not playing winger in 8 years.

Did nothing wrong, and a couple of tries will be great for his confidence, time will tell. It's a specialist position these days.

How good was it when he started that push-and-shove on Kikau? They looked rattled. Beat them at their own game. Feels good.

Yep, I thought it was the play of the game, really showed the team is getting together.

Winger was the hole where we were fading IMO.

But I love how he’s slot in and made it his own, defends well, does the dirty runs and can also come up onto the opposition quick.

I don’t know if anyone else watched the trial game, but I’m still waiting for that wonderful early kick from Brooks to a steaming Jimmy to score

Roberts impressed with the aggression of his runs..

showed real intensity

If you get the chance watch it again, its right in front of Douiehi, maybe a little high and AD actually pulls his hands away. Mbye gives him a bake. If AD catches it, its a try.

Has the Jet lost some speed? He wasn't catching up to Moses when he scored that try.

I’d say so
Running on a treadmill
Looks cooked imo
