100% correct.... you got it.. 12 players better than.nothing...

i want to reboot this and figure how we can as fans get pointed recruits to help us.

When we re-sign Fainu, we are going to have two spots left.

I arrive to this figure on the below assumptions.

1. We retain Fainu, which everyone tells me we will.
2. We retain Sezer. I think this is common sense, especially after the Sullivan offload stuff. Even as depth.
3. Brandon Tumeth takes up his player option. Why wouldnt he? No one else will want him.
4. The club does not take up the club option on Justin Matumua
5. The strong Naden to france rumours are correct and he goes.

So how do we fill these two?

Euan Aitken for me, the number one target, can be our utility, our centre, and our attacking 2nd rower and wont be expensive. has to be one spot.

Are the George Delaney rumours true? That is the 2nd spot already taken if so.

Morgan Knowles is our tackling machine if we get him as a third option.

We ideally need 4 players assuming we somehow retain Stef to allow us to be a realistic top 8 chance.
We need two NRL ready tall and fast powerful ball running centre/wingers who can help us get out of our danger zone, be reliable defensively and good enough to score their fair share of tries or at the very least make regular tackle busts or line breaks.
We also need a NRL ready powerful tackle busting edge back rower. I don’t believe an ageing Aitken is what we need,
We need an NRL ready interchange prop who can come in the field, scatter defenders and help get our team on the front foot. Royce Hunt would be prefect.
A good 13 woukd be great and Knowles would certainly be worth a go if he was available.
If Doueihi was prepared to play tough and not be a liability when defending, he has the physique and attributes to be a very good 13.
