Let’s hope the big O lifts his game next year because he was dead set rubbish this year

he had Fifita and Haas getting most of the carries and his wife was also battling cancer so that's one way he's performance could have been effected.

Been carried by a very good pack ...we wll find out the hard way ...again

I mean he made origin in 2019 where he played really well. He’s shown he can play at that level - the big question is can he get back to that under Madge. It’s a risky signing

Every signing has an element of risk.

Of course, but his is riskier than others because he was so down on form this year. If that continues it won’t be a good signing.

Suli was down on form when he left Wests Tigers and Bulldogs bt he really turned it around with Manly.

As did Sironen for that matter.

That's because even though we criticize the club at times, when it comes to the crunch we're mostly loyal supporters.

When Josh showed his disloyalty and total disrespect for the jersey he was always going to cop hell, and deservedly so.

Not arguing that ...but it didn't make him a crap footballer did it ....just a crap person

If a few could drop the hate for 5 minutes they'd remember Aloiai is a better footballer than Jo O and if we are losing him we should be getting someone better than him

Just remember only 2 sides have shown interest in Jo O ....Saints and Us

How many have shown interest in Aloiai?

A change of environment will do him the world of good. He knows what he's getting into as far as training hard is concerned, but he fits in well with a squad which needs some controlled aggression in the middle. I think Tamou will be a very good influence on him and Stefano - I know his leadership is being talked up quite a bit already at WT.

Plus lets remember he has played SOO... This guy went down under Siebold and confident he will be back next year under Madge.. Massive upgrade if true.

If we keep downgrading our players we will end up as continual spoon favourites

You're definitely entitled to your opinion Happy, and I guess we will not know until we see how he performs next year, hopefully not a dud signing.

If Anthony Griffin has had any sort of interest in Joe then that gives me a bit of confidence because I rate him as a coach and judge of player ability.

I agree with you on this point. I think it's a downgrade and a big one. It's a downgrade in relation to the player not being as good plus it's costing us cap space for 3 years. I don't think it's as bad as the Mbye signing but to me it's a risky signing.

I hope I'm wrong.

Why don’t we give Joe a chance to see if he can impress u happy , the bloke hasn’t donned the jersey yet and ppl are whinginig , remember the other bloke wanted out

Mate , I straight up disagree. Ja had his only good year in first grade this past year. Last year many were calling him useless, and soft. I’ve always liked josh , but he came in as a powerful edge player if we all remember, but he had zero lateral quickness and went missing a lot.
I remember his career completely . Came from Parra mid season , got injured a lot , lost his power , and has been moved inside and become a very good front rower this past season .
I wish him all the best , I think Joe O is better . I’ve liked Joe O since he made his debut . He’s always been a good metre eater and is solid in the middle . He had 1 down year last year . Josh had 1 good year .

Maybe that interest in Jo O from the Stains will jump again ...De Belin case is in for a decision I believe

Dare to dream eh😏

Sadly I think Packer’s mojo left the building a long time ago, if he ever had in the first place that is.

Going off the 2020 season Aloiai is ahead on form, had a great 2020 and bagged a few tries. In saying that Ofahengaue has the potential to have more impact with the tigers then Josh ever did.

He looks good because he is surrounded by good ...you take him from that good and ask him to stand out like he did at Brisbane without those blokes ......it won't happen

I guess time will tell . All those guys were elite juniors including Joe O , so at , at least 1 point he would have been the guy in the team . His talent is undeniable dude. Whether he was getting a bump because h was taking a hitup after Payne Haas made a big run I dunno. Bear in mind though that HAAS and Fifita only debuted last year , and the other guys mentioned were definitely on the downhill when he was playing with them.
It’s all relative I guess . One of us will be right this time next year , and I’m sure you’d prefer me to be , as it means we get a good footy player .

It was Madge's choice to go for Jo and as Tiger supporters we have to support and go with that. I really think that Cleary is making much better player buys than the last few Tigers coaches. In 2021 Wests Tigers will have one of its strongest forward packs in years.

How can you make a statement like that? Maybe those players looked good behind him. Put him behind Tamou, Stefano, LL, Blore. Nothing wrong with those blokes.
