Ofahengaue is a good leader..

He was brought in to play that middle roll where he is most effective..playing him on an edge was stupid and a coaching mistake..

Thankfully smarter heads have prevailed..

I reckon it was worth a try though ..if it came off it would have been a massive financial windfall for us

No it wasn't..it was a waste of 2 weeks..

Yes it was if it comes off saves us hundreds of thousands of dollars in chasing a quality back rower ....big picture man ...big picture ...it has been ok to spend 8 years ...never mind

The big picture is he sucks in the back row ..he will always suck in the back row..he will never be a back rower..they knew this ..it was never in 150 million years going to come off..

His strength is as a middle of the field..you select your players where they are most effective..

What’s his position then?

Instagram poser

People hate him, but do you know how fast he’d be snapped up if he got punted. You don’t score 80+ tries in 150 games if you aren’t good at what you do

Don't quote me on this but I am pretty sure Parra were interested in Noffa. Not sure if you consider them a top club

You don’t play 150 games if you aren’t first grade standard. He’ll end his career in the 250-300 game range, and close to 150 tries. But sure, not a first grader ?

It doesn’t matter how bad a club is. No player plays 150 games if they aren’t up to first grade. He’d have slipped through the cracks with the Kyle Lovett’s and Nathan Milone’s years ago.

He needs to find another vocation

Any other top club he’d have been gone years ago .. but not us ?

You don’t play 150 games if you aren’t first grade standard. He’ll end his career in the 250-300 game range, and close to 150 tries. But sure, not a first grader ?

As I said ... at our basket case of a club.
How many tries has he let in .. I’d say close to 250+
Crap player who only can do half a job ..

You don’t think he would pick up another gig if we told him he could leave?

No .. not at a decent club
Why do you think he stays?

It doesn’t matter how bad a club is. No player plays 150 games if they aren’t up to first grade. He’d have slipped through the cracks with the Kyle Lovett’s and Nathan Milone’s years ago.

Answer the question!

We’re never gonna know are we.

Yeah he'd be slowing up in a 150 million years ...I expect to be peaking again in 150 million years

Like selecting Nofo on the wing
Can’t jump
Can’t defend
Runs in quicksand

What’s his position then?

Instagram poser

People hate him, but do you know how fast he’d be snapped up if he got punted. You don’t score 80+ tries in 150 games if you aren’t good at what you do

I’ve backed him in the past but the difference between good nof and bad nof is too extreme

Ofahengaue unfazed by Origin speculation, focused on Storm clash

Wests Tigers forward Joe Ofahengaue is unfazed by the latest speculation surrounding team selection for Origin II and only has eyes on the 80 minutes against Melbourne on the Sunshine Coast.

The Queensland representative is aware Maroons coach Paul Green is likely to make changes for the Suncorp Stadium clash following the heavy defeat in Game One, but Ofahengaue said his sole focus is on Wests Tigers until after the full-time siren on Saturday.

“We lost by 50 so I think he [Green] is going to make some changes. I haven’t heard from him yet,” Ofahengaue said

“Right now, I’m focused on putting in the best performance this week and trying to get the win against the Storm. We’ve got 80 minutes to focus on.”

Following last week’s disappointing loss against Parramatta, Ofahengaue admitted he didn’t play to his capabilities and said the team was far from impressed with their performance.

“I just want to do my job because last week I wasn’t too happy with my performance. This week we need to be better and put our halves in better positions to score points,” the forward said.

“We learnt some tough lesson last week, like making silly errors out oof yardage. Any opportunity we get in their 20 (metres), we’re going to have to take it because when you play against good team like the Storm, you don’t get too many opportunities.”

“I’ve got to go out there and go after their front rowers. I’ve got to go at their middle because they’re going to come at us.”

Ofahengaue is looking forward to the challenge against the defending premiers and ladder leaders this week, labelling the Storm the ‘benchmark’ of the competition.

“This week we’re going to have to compete against them. They’re a really competitive team and we’re building towards that,” he said.

“They just find a way, and they’re always competitive, that’s what we’re striving to be. Each week we’re learning, and this week is going to be a big test for us.”

I know it's all fluff, but I find Joffa speaks really well. would definitely be a leader behind closed doors. having him in video this week might help us come Saturday night.

He's not a thickhead, that's for sure.
