Eels will be a lot better than people think next year and a lot of Tigers in key positions will be on a steep learning curve

If my memory is correct the last time the Wests Tigers won a similar tournament was the Sevens in 2005, the same year that Wests Tigers, with a young side, won the premiership.

I think he is a good deal taller than Cherry Mescia. If he does get a run with Wests Tigers our forward pack in 2014, considering the forwards already signed, is likely to be on the tall side.

I like would like this signing. Big strong country boy who runs a great inside shoulder line just like Ellis used to do. We dont have anyone in our current squad that offers this. With Patterson, Picker and Fulton at lock, I would like that edge back 3.

Well from what I can find from Raiders fans view is that Picker is a solid defensive backrower with a good work ethic and who has reasonable support play and runs good lines. He isn't an impact player but would probably help us improve our defense. He seems like a younger Fulton, with a bit more size. Could be good for protecting our baby halves.
