For all the praise Potter got this was incredibly poor selection. gave us no chance in some games over Origin period continually playing Luani there.

Who should have been played at hooker during Origin considering Cherrington is still a kid and Halatau was injured for most of the year?

Would have liked to see him go well (as he went to the same highschool i did) but he is rubbish… Will never be a 1st grader... Slow and and average (and very slow) passer...

I thought his defence stunk.
Not just in the 9s but also when he's played NRL. His defence in NSW Cup isn't great either.

Not trying to over the top bag the bloke but I just don't see him as an adequate first grader nor back up.

i can tell you one thing - he don't see what you see. You can tell he's been working hard. He didnt let us down this weekend.

Luani is a poor man's backup for Halatau. Is a mile below where Halatau is now, and will never reach the heights he did.

He's just a small, slow player. He's been poor in almost every game he's played in the last 12 months.

He should be nowhere near the NRL squad, even with injuries. The likes of Funaki and Liolevave would be ahead of him,. heck even Lovett would be ahead of him!
