Yea he got a swift no when we went balls deep for Ciraldo . I honestly do not think he’s the best choice . And it would be typical wests / HBG to hire him 5 years too late

Agree.

I can't see many decent options available either though.

I liked the Elijah Taylor suggestion - no ways he's interested though.

Personally think a Dale Finucane would be immense yet untested... then maybe a Mich Potter type to take over from Hodgo.

Maybe as an assistant he wouldnt be as much in the firing line. I reckon hed be worth a go.

The whole NRL is a mates game and playing together in a club does not necessarily mean that they were your best mates. Like I said we can find a way to accuse our coaches of surrounding themselves with the wrong people whether they are experienced or not.
All head coaches have a say in their assistants - and there is a good reason for that.

Mates game or not .., the only thing that matters to a professional head coach is winning games .., when that happens no one cares about things like assistant coaches

Krawley is a character…maybe he could get a facelift first to smooth out those wrinkles,,

Would need a few kilos of body filler for that job.

Would recommend the one with the fibreglass reinforcing in it, less chance of falling out if he cracks a smile.

Flanagan doesn’t have to apply, he’s got the media trying to push for him to get hired every time he’s unemployed.

When it comes to Flanno the only thing I would be pushing would be him out the door.

Not sure what he has been doing. I would guess he is a little out of touch now. He was shafted at the dogs. He was getting an average team to go well when he got shafted.

There’s no chance. When Potter was interim coach at dogs, Benji was on 360 and said he wasn’t a great coach.

Doubt he’d even consider come here especially the way he was treated by Benji.
Back when Benji was playing trash footy then demanded a million dollars from Potter saying pay up or he’d walk.
