Jordan Marshall King injury status

Gee ease up Tiger Crib - Slick explained the reason for his assessment. You seem to know JMK at a personal level and I'm sure he's a great guy but Slick's read on him based on personal experience was that his attitude to making it in the game was lacking. Doesn't make him a bad person just makes him like a stack of other kids who have talent coming out their rear ends but for whatever reason don't have the extra bit to take them to the next level.

Kind of, he's a mate of my son and thank you Yossarian for making that a little clearer. It all sounded a little harsh. I understand where Slick is coming from now but IMO the lack of attitude could possibly be because of all the pressure to excel at league or maybe his heart sits more with touch than it does league? I really don't know to be honest…..

I'd say that's a fair assessment and let's face it, despite our passion it's not everyone's dream to play NRL. Poor guy probably just wants to enjoy life and play the sport his heart is set on. Having seen what it's done to his brother off the field it's not surprising. Sure there are lots of highs and benefits but you can kiss goodbye to a normal life.

I'm sure everyone wishes him well in whatever he wants to do.

Bundy? He was once picked for Bundy, and the coach had to call him less than hour before the game, only to be told he was in Manly and didn't realise the game was on. He knew it was on, as he was told he was playing, where and when. He just couldn't be assed to get there…poor attitude!
