Jordan Marshall OFFICIALLY a Tiger!

Sounds like he is behind the 8 ball in terms of strength and fitness, but at his age those attributes should be easy enough to improve with good diet and supplementation. If he can force his way in by the halfway point during the season then he'll be doing well IMO. The 20's have a solid backline this year so it won't be a walk up start for him.

I know he is probably a few years away but Who's ahead of him at Full back in the 20's or fringe first Grade??

He has a few in front of him mate.

After McKinnon you have Brown, Moltzen, Meaney, Mullaney…

And just a few more after that Tagive, Kamuta, Bonnell, Nofoaluma and Tedesco.

I haven't seen him play so I don't know if he deserves to be ahead of any of the young guns who have been training since November for a shot at the u20's fullback spot..all seems a bit odd.
Good publicity I suppose.I will be there to watch his 1st game…but certainly a lot of pressure coming his way from all directions.
His been playing touch so I think when he gets a run they may start him on the wing.

he wont be winning any beauty competitions :roll

That's a bit harsh, he's just at that awkward "inbetween child and man" stage of life, which can be ugly for a while, before everything settles down. Time will tell.

wow… imagine that, being the brother of Benji Marshall, thats already amazing in itself... i wish i was related to one of the tigers..

Yeah I think I saw him in a team sheet up there. No idea why. Could be mixed up though.

For the Jets? Strange if true. I've never heard of us having any relationship with them. You'd think there would be other options in NSW…

Anyone know how this kid is going? Haven't heard anything.

He played in an under 19's development game V Cronulla at Leichhardt oval last Wednesday. He is a lot taller than Benji and like Benji has a good step but he looks like he has never been into a gym.

The coaching staff may be able to make something out of him but it won't be happening anytime soon.

Had the opportunity to see Jordan first hand today. He played in the Wests side against my team in the Wests A Grade Competition, (the Tigers have a side with their fringe 20's in there).

He still has a LONG way to go before he is ready for NYC.. As B&W said above, he looks as though he has never been near a gym and reminds me so much of benji when he first came to the club.

On the field he plays so much like his brother its not funny… He showed some touches of brilliance with steps and a beautiful behind the back flick pass, but like his brother does seem to play everything of the cuff which makes things difficult for those around him..

With time and the right coaching though, he could be just like Benji as it was clear he has ability...
