Seems like half the content in the last week has been taken up by childish squabbling, irrelevant discussion or deletions.
Actually, when I think about it, it might not be this thread specifically, but it's the overall impression I get while cruising across various topics.
Could be that your long break may have had you returning with your better memories, but I don't think much has really changed, just a few more slipping towards the dark side following eight years of failure.
Either way, good to see you back Stevie.
Thanks FG! Not sure why but I lost a bit of enthusiasm for a while, then I wasn’t able to log in and gave up. Finally, I contacted Support and got back on. I enjoy the chat but maybe I had forgotten the sniping stuff and, I’ll say it again, it is SOOOOO boring reading the knee-j**k criticism of management and the childish squabbles.
On the positive side, I think we should all chill a bit and be patient. There is a chance that the reason it appears nothing is happening or reaching fruition is because there is a lot of manoeuvring going on behind the scenes involving multiple clubs and players. Eventually the dominoes will begin to fall and maybe, just maybe we snare JAC and Latrell. Probably not but you never know…
I am just enjoying the ride, whether it be this thread about Josh, who I would welcome back with open arms and be happy to not have to again hear the criticisms since he left, or other varying topics. Still, management wise, I have issues around the way Pascoe handled the Farah situation from start to finish, which in reality it still hasn't and won't be until November 1 next year when WT are no longer encumbered. This even though I believe the club should have fought the penalty and blame powerful directors with an ulterior motive for that.
Thing is, a few here will agree with me on all of that, others with some of it and more with little or not at all, yet ultimately we want the same thing, WT being a successful footy team. I like that we here are in discussion on many things and that it's not just some pat each other on the back style echo chamber.
