All the bickering lately has become really tiresome and boring. Seems like half the content in the last week has been taken up by childish squabbling, irrelevant discussion or deletions.

Actually, when I think about it, it might not be this thread specifically, but it's the overall impression I get while cruising across various topics.

Could be that your long break may have had you returning with your better memories, but I don't think much has really changed, just a few more slipping towards the dark side following eight years of failure.

Either way, good to see you back Stevie.

Thanks FG! Not sure why but I lost a bit of enthusiasm for a while, then I wasn’t able to log in and gave up. Finally, I contacted Support and got back on. I enjoy the chat but maybe I had forgotten the sniping stuff and, I’ll say it again, it is SOOOOO boring reading the knee-j**k criticism of management and the childish squabbles.

On the positive side, I think we should all chill a bit and be patient. There is a chance that the reason it appears nothing is happening or reaching fruition is because there is a lot of manoeuvring going on behind the scenes involving multiple clubs and players. Eventually the dominoes will begin to fall and maybe, just maybe we snare JAC and Latrell. Probably not but you never know…

I am just enjoying the ride, whether it be this thread about Josh, who I would welcome back with open arms and be happy to not have to again hear the criticisms since he left, or other varying topics. Still, management wise, I have issues around the way Pascoe handled the Farah situation from start to finish, which in reality it still hasn't and won't be until November 1 next year when WT are no longer encumbered. This even though I believe the club should have fought the penalty and blame powerful directors with an ulterior motive for that.

Thing is, a few here will agree with me on all of that, others with some of it and more with little or not at all, yet ultimately we want the same thing, WT being a successful footy team. I like that we here are in discussion on many things and that it's not just some pat each other on the back style echo chamber.

Great post.

I think I would probably be posted by others here in the pat on the back camp that i defend Pascoe & managment at every opportunity. The fact is that I think that over the past probably 4-5 years there has been a steady improvement of how the club is run with actual solid changes to the board and board structure, constant improvements in sponsorships and membership. Good solid improvements in almost every measurable parameter except (importantly) on field results.

This doesnt mean that there havent been negatives. Taylors appointment, possibly handling the Cleary issue (I think they did their best) and definitely the handling of the Farah issue (particularly the aftermath). These are clear cut poorly handled issues and these can be discussed sensibly but when we have people here stamping their feet and stating that our management are embarassing because the had concurrent sentences with the words speed and signing in seperate sentances and then announcing a forward has signed.

The ridiculous posting in here of people with a clear agenda pulling apart EVERYTHING as Pascoes fault means that you end up with people defending management because they are sick of the immature rambling.

It's all about punctuation and interpretation.
It's like "Can you help my Uncle Jack off a horse" and "Can you help my Uncle, Jack off a horse"

JAC coming back to Tigers is like Benji and Farah returning - it just feels like the right thing to happen, like the footy gods realigning the footy universe.

Get back Tedesco and all can be forgiven!

BREAKING NEWS

Josh Addo-Carr’s latest release proposals has thrown a massive spanner in the works!

Tigers are leading contenders for his signature, it’s being reported it’s his preferred destination whereas teams like the Bulldogs, Cronulla and Roosters are all keen

Addo-Carr is the Wests Tigers priority right now, and the Alex Johnston move may be in jeopardy over it - the interesting factor in this is that if Addo-Carr joins the Wests Tigers the idea that Latrell follows is quite likely!

It seems unlikely Gagai will be moved on, if he does then the Rabbitohs are very much in play for Latrell but the Wests Tigers will look a lot more attractive with there 1 million dollar contract, preferred position and have one his best mates at the club with him!

It seems like regardless of the Roosters stance on trying to move him on before January 1st, that Latrell will dig his heels in and play out the season and make a decision for 2021 in which it’s a near certainty he won’t be at the Roosters beyond next season!

Is there a comic accompanying this hyperbole?

Where is Tacky? Could NSG be Tacky in disguise? He has stirred up trouble on every other forum - maybe thought he should have a go on this one.

Actually wondering to myself whether he had found love

Let us hope that JAC is wanting to sign here first and foremost, plus that the filthy storm find some benevolence over the holiday season.

I would give him a go at fullback until Abbey is right. I would rather him chiming in from the back rather then being starved on the wing. Let the rest of the guys fight for wing spots and go hard next year for Cotric or Wighton

Note: I see Abbey as 28th signing playing CC and then maybe making a shift to the wing if we don't land a marquee. Thompson is a tough one.. Too early for selections but I think Billy Walters will be starting at hooker

Yeah I can’t see how Jennings is extended beyond this year. Too many others with upside in front of him.

They're going to have to scrap for jumpers

Walters is completely unknown. We are going to need some back-up in that position. I can't see Reynolds doing a good job there which to me leaves Mbye and hopefully Liddle/Simpkins later in the season.

I'm prepared to give Jenko the benefit of the doubt. I'm expecting him to come out flying with a proper off-season

Surely.
He llooks like a different person to 2k19 Jenko.

The Jennings boys are a strange situation.
All seem like talents but just don't really look like they care.

Rob is the best looking of the 3.

Geez I hope so, as he couldn't have been much more underwhelming this season.

In today's Sunday Telegraph ....on page 46

IF this is true then it's looking like another LM contract circus. What is going on with agents advisers and players !
Could be why it's been very quiet lately on the JAC front

Fox update will drive you round the ‘Benz’
THE MERCEDES-owning builder reported to be advising Latrell Mitchell on contract matters has now been linked to Josh Addo-Carr.
In what’s threatening to become another NRL contract circus, a source close to the “Fox’’ claimed he is taking advice from the builder who tempted Mitchell to test his worth after loaning him a $180,000 Mercedes Benz AMG.
Clubs interested in signing the NSW flyer aren’t quite sure who to talk to with a “number of parties” said to be acting on his behalf.
One club is threatening to walk away from talks after his official management company — Pacific Sport Management — failed to broker a meeting.
Addo-Carr is seeking a $200,000 upgrade from his current deal after the Storm agreed to release him from the final year of his deal should they receive compensation
The Bulldogs, Tigers, Dragons and Roosters have all been linked to the Test winger, but will have to provide the Storm with a “like-forlike” replacement to snare the Fox.
