Josh Addo Carr ...Petition To Stay

Wingers are real important either can be match winners or losers.
Can't believe we loose another quality players who unlike others in the team looks like always having a go.
The release of him Marika Austin and Tapau and the non signing of Blair seems laughable.
And as someone else said thay fiddled giving Tedesco a contract.

Our club revolves around our young halves bank balance it seems.

Its all too familiar, I feel like our club is just being used to audition players into the nrl for other clubs.

JAC is RAW Very Raw but to find some one with so much up side who can improve so much has Xfactor is very hard David Nofoaluma has plateaued But JAC has so much UP side give him 30 games see how he is and i think you will find a solid first grade player

As mentioned in pre-season reports and subsequent updates JAC is something special and can still be secured for $300k for 2017-2018 - $120k / $180k. But he wants an assurance that he will be considered every week for 1st grade, not a guarantee but an assurance. Melbourne have now offered in the region of $320k for 2 years. Its a 50/50 bet because the Tigers have been slow to realise his untold potential - when he truly gets match fit for 1st grade you won't believe what he is capable of. He has made every member of our entire squad look second rate in training with his attacking prowess, but is currently pacing himself to last 80 minutes.

I've avoided commenting much about players WT have let go. On this one I think they have made a mistake.

I think you will find the WT made him an offer which JAC rejected for the offer to move to Storm,,,his choice not ours….

Half the issues still revolve around the dumb decisions of the past

Like options in players favour created by Mayer

God that is still killing us

How many wingers have we let go in the past few years and how many have we picked up? Off the top of my head:

OUT
JAC (also IN)
Hoeter
Koroibete
Richards
Sila
Big T Naiyaravoro
\
\
IN
Hunt
Rankin….not really a winger
Addo Carr (Now Out)

If we dont purchase any before year is out, we must be banking on on at least one of Heleta, Peni or even Kharwin or Pap to step up.

Funny how we're all up Moltzen for ditching the Saints and now we're encouraging JAC to do the same.

Forget the petition. He is gone. Accept it.

Let's get real here.

The season is 13 weeks old. JAC has played 4 NRL games and was decent in one.

He has potential you say - How much potential and will it be realised. Who knows, it is a gamble. How much is he worth? Is he worth more than 120 and 180 - does that amount put him in the top 25, if it doesn't, then that amount will come out of our second tier cap. We have potential coming out of our ears. Brooks and Moses are just two, Most people on here want to drop them back to NSW Cup until their potential is realised. Why does JAC have more potential than them? Moses has more potential in his little finger than JAC has in his whole body and yet - back to reggies.

Apparently he was made a competitive offer and refused to take more money and play for the Storm. It was his choice. You say "Regan" that he wanted to play for us, he said we were his favorite team and all his family supports us. Obviously he didn't want to play for us THAT much!

The trouble with these kids is that they want a lot and they want it now. He has had 7 NSW Cup games and 4 NRL games - get real JAC, how about earning a new contract. He is a Mercenary just like Koro and Tapau that chased more money than they were worth. Austin signed with someone else in preference because he wanted FG and thought he wasn't going to get it at the Tigers - Martin was the same as Austin. We wanted to release Blair because he was a DUD playing for us.

Why are you getting your knickers in a knot over mercenaries and people who WANT to leave. He made his choice and I for one would be dropping him to reggies for the rest of the season. I would not be helping the Storm, by refining his skills for them for next year. Rankin should be given his place back - he didn't do anything wrong and HE wants to play for us.

If there is a bigger fish in the pipeline I can live with JAC departing, but if we have let him walk over the reported contract value he wanted than we are crazy. Yes he was a rookie, but at say around 150g a year compared to what the dynamic duo are getting is chicken feed

Agree 110%. It just doesn't make sense

It hurts to see so much talent go to other clubs, I'd even go so far to say the Tigers probably have the best nursery of any team. However unlike the magical Storm, Rabbits, Roosters and the Broncs the salary cap doesn't allow us to. Add to that talented guys want to play first grade and there's only 17 that can do that.
Sure we could have kept a couple by being wiser who makes up the 17 but when you get down to it there are only so many a team can keep.

Up until the year 2000 i was a West and Balmain supporter and from then i have supporter the West Tigers and its been hard at times but i go to games buy the jersey spend my hard earned money to follow the team but it makes me angry letting go JAC the club is so stupid i am sick of it so i am writing here to let everyone know I want JAC to stay i dont care what the West Tigers management have to do get on bended knee keep this kid The West Tigers have taken so much from me for a very long time my emotions take a battering its so hard at times to love some think that causes you so much pain i am near the end so i ask my fellow West Tiger supporter do you want JAC to stay or lose another talented kid the West Tigers you owe me this keep him

A contract is easy to break in the game today

Oh I so agree with what you are saying Regan :righton:

It is so depressing to see what is happening to (at) this club,( they) keep telling us that they are putting things in place to get things better but this team/club is and has always been so INCONSISTENT, so the club should be held accountable to the members and fans and tell us what they are doing to rectify this INCONSISTENCY.

I want Addo Carr to stay too, but I doubt that would be possible now, if he has signed with the Storm, I don't think it would be possible to break this deal :smiling_imp:
But I am sick of some of the ridiculous choices the club makes with regards to some of the players, we seem to loose all our good players :crazy there is never any accountability, players are never dropped, so I think there's the reason for INCONSISTENCY :brick:
:
However this post is supposed to be about Addo Carr, so yes I would want him to stay. 😛ray: 😛ray:

If that is truly the case then bye-bye Addo-Carr. We don't want players that don't want to be here. But if we simply missed the bus or stuffed up the negotiations it was a mistake.

If we have signed Denny Solomona, as was rumoured a while back, losing jac won't hurt so much. Replacing him with Hunt will hurt a lot.
