Bends the line and lands on his front, very valuable.
Got us going forward in many sets today and was the first forward to really bend what started as a very aggressive Melbourne defence in the first half.

Almost every run was an absolute barnstormer. What really pleases me is that he had a fair few detractors when he first came here but he is maturing fast and will only get better.

It's hard to get much more than 40 minutes out of a genuine impact forward, which is the role he filled well today. Unless they're Taumalolo they're generally not starting because it's hard to have a massive impact when the opposition is fresh. Not many players can maintain impact over more than a 40 minute stretch and it's just not worth the interchanges to get a player on, off and back on again. As today showed we need an impact forward and Josh just served a reminder that he's the best man to fill that role.

Wests Tigers forward Josh Aloiai is confident in his team covering the loss of co-captain Russell Packer this Sunday against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
Packer is expected to be sidelined for the next few weeks after picking up a knee injury in the club's last start win over the Melbourne Storm — a blow for the side given the forward's strong start to the year.
However, Aloiai was adamant that the club's depth of talent would cover the loss well.
"Russell's been awesome and a really great leader for us," Aloiai enthused.
"Luckily for us we've got a lot of depth. Everyone is looking to step up and put their hand up when they can, and if the opportunity is there then we know that people are going to do that.
"When you lose someone like Russell, it's on everyone to put their hand up.
"He gets through a tonne of work, but we'll do it," he said.
"I guess a lot of what our team is built on is being selfless and working hard for the guy next to you.
"If you asked people a word that describes us, I think you could say resilient. And if people describe our culture as resilient, then that's something you can be pretty rapt about."

Don’t know. He’s a very brave player. I love him. Should be there before Sue. Maybe IC is trying to rotate the squad to give guys a chance to have a spell and freshen up in ISP?
