Why be so stupid to spend 450k on a winger when we need strong aggressive forwards lets do it the West Tigers way spend 300K on a winger who is half as good as JAC that will be true to form for the West Tigers and get some retirement village forward and over pay Brooks and Moses thats sounds more like it

You my friend are an airhead, Addo-Carr is twice as good as Mansour you say.

Yeah you're right a player at the age of 20 and has played 4 games is twice as good as Mansour, if we had money Mansour would be a great buy to this club, I'm not saying it will happen but he would be a great signing, IMO we are short of one or two aggressive forward for our pack to be complete.

Maybe a Sio Siua Taukeiaho/ Kane Evans/ Luke Bateman type would be great.

Please read i dont say JAC IS TWICE AS GOOD.. Canberras offer was reported 450K for Mansour which he almost took you under stand that so far ….....But true Tigers style they will go out over pay for a winger 300K who will be half as good as A RAW YOUNG JAC

If Josh Mansour is half as good as JAC, that means Addo-Carr is twice as good as Mansour, do you understand that?

You make no sense!

Mansour was going to go but I think moving to Canberra prevented him doing so and Raiders back then sucked, just like us.

We haven't made an offer under my knowledge so who says we're going to overpay when we haven't offered anything lol

The 450k is reference to Josh Mansour ok …The 300k reference is to any random winger in the NRL which the Tigers can buy for next season which would be half as good as JAC

JAC may plateau after 4 games. Seriously the reviews he gets on here would have him being hard done by to not get picked in origin 3 and must be a cert for the four nations

Dude… It's the Wests Tigers...

Rumour today that Radradra could be off to Brisbane next year.
Not the kind of player I want to get into a bidding war for though.

Yeah that seems like BS given he's signed until the end of 2018 at $250K per season. At that rate he's probably close to the best value player in the competition and Parra should look anywhere but at Semi to ease salary cap pressure. If he's going to leave Parra before 2018 he'll be going to a rival code for big $$ I would imagine…unless Brisbane is sending a couple of players to Parra at cut rates.

JOSH MANSOUR achieved his career dream when he ran out in a Blues jumper last week – but it may now cost him his career at Penrith.

The 25-year-old has developed into one of the NRL’s best wingers over the past 12 months – so much so that the Panthers can no longer afford to keep him.

The powerhouse flanker is off contract and wants to stay a Panther, but he’s attracting offers from rival clubs that Penrith simply can’t match.

The Roosters are set to table a massive offer, while several other sides are also in the hunt for Mansour, who made his NSW debut in the Origin series opener.

The Panthers already have one winger on big money – boom Kiwi Dallin Watene-Zelezniak – and not many clubs can afford to carry two high-priced flyers.

And if Penrith snare Test and Blues prop James Tamou, they’ll need to shed two or three players – including Mansour.

A crowd favourite at Penrith, Mansour tells RLW that he’s put contract talks on hold until after the Origin period.

“I’m happy at the moment with where my footy is with the Panthers and also now with Origin,” he says.

“There’s a bit on my plate. I just want to focus on that, and after that’s finished I’ll think about my future then.

“I’d love to stay at Penrith but we’ll have to see what happens. I understand it’s a business and some things are out of my control.”

Mansour relished the lead-up to the big Origin opener last week at ANZ Stadium.

“It’s always been one of my goals [playing for the Blues] and something I really set my sights on at the start of the season,” says Mansour, who also played four Tests for Australia at the 2014 Four Nations tournament.

“I’ve been happy with my form – Penrith have a great young side and their style suits me.”

Most likely will go Roosters, but if that was the case I wouldn't mind Tupou at the club! Hasn't had the greatest season but still better than our options IMO

The Roosters would like us to take him. Ch9 revealed Roosters captain Jake Friend unleashed on some of his team mates for not putting in. Guess whose name was mentioned?

I would not touch Tupou. As a former origin winger, he probably wants a decent contract. Even then he was overated. Would take both our wingers over him.
