That's just BS.
They're professionals as are actors singers and politicians, in the public eye and under public scrutiny

Getting flustered over a comment Mark...For a person who I thought knows a few things in life you should give credit where its due...and yes he has made it and I don't care to much about polititians or actors....

Talk about avoiding the point... If we go by your logic how long should we give him credit for getting to the level he's a and we're not at?
And when do we start evaluating and criticising or praising his current efforts?

I don't care about pollies singers or actors either but theyre under public scrutiny for their performance just as Josh and all.pro.players are and to suggest otherwise is ridiculous

You can get personal and throw out words like "flustered" & " I thought you knew more" just shows you got nothing really other then give him credit for getting
to a level we didn't reach... I think we do that by buying memberships and attending games, because without us they have nothing

I don't think JR would make the first 17 in any other club - barring injury. If his contract was not so high he wouldn't be considered imo. All the talk off the field means nothing if his best on game day is not good enough - especially in such an important position.

This foto imo shows how unco, unbalanced he is passing... He's off the wrong foot... He looks awkward and his passes reflect that

?....under 8’s
Needs to breathe as well ?

I disagree, in rugby league you pass backwards, so if you are passing to the left you need to have your right foot forward to achieve this with precision and effectiveness. If you were to pass with your left foot forward the pass would most likely go forward.

I agree ... and a lot comes from the shoulders..
I’d say Reynolds is goofy footed and or vision impaired !
And as @Demps just said maybe it’s different for lefty’s ?

I think maybe you and @Demps need to watch a bit more footy or have read of a coaches manual. Good luck guys if you ever take up coaching footy skills. Cheers

We're the brainz m8.

Top earners, Michael Franzese style.

I'm sure Madge will have some 1 on 1 sessions on foot positioning when u pass with the boys.

Whilst wokesmoke tells em best ways to come 9th.

Have to ask. How can you hate Smoking Gun and love Wokesmoke? They were the same poster.

As for membership, merchandise and support,I pay mine as do others,I love everything WTs...but I draw the line on belittling or personal name calling players or coaches on a public forum, particularly if someone is down on their form or has personal issues...I have given my opinion of Josh through this thread to the point that I said he is not at NRL level at the moment, however his form prior to coming here was good, even to the point of SOO selection..
But as I said it is my choice to scutinise his performance as I have just mentioned in a respectful manner...

I agree the money WTs paid is way overs, but that's not JRs fault...we may not be the club he should be at,but he is doing his best after a horrific run of injuries and his off field issues...he can be fantastic in CC for the younger ones, its just his price tag that affects everyone at the moment...

Ok, I'm curious. What's an example of a respectful criticism that you would be OK with?

How can someone say that the guy is not a FG standard player, injury prone, drain on the club resources and quite possibly one of the dumbest signings the Tigers have made in its short but colorful history of signing duds.

Aware.

Oh please spare me the "he's made it but we haven't so spare the criticism"

HE may be in the public eye and get scrutenised for his performance, but at what level do you stop personally name calling and degrading him ….that's the point Ink and I have got plenty not nothing when it comes to morals...

No.... Your point was he's reached a level none of us have so he's exempt from criticism... Don't twist this into "yiur morals"

Please INK,my point was he has made it to nrl and soo that many of us haven't...I never said he was EXEMPT from criticism...RESPECT is the point Im making,he maybe playing poorly atm,but is he entitled to being publicly belittled on a public forum just because you say he is in the public eye...

Ok, I'm curious. What's an example of a respectful criticism that you would be OK with?

How can someone say that the guy is not a FG standard player, injury prone, drain on the club resources and quite possibly one of the dumbest signings the Tigers have made in its short but colorful history of signing duds.

In my opinion JR at the time of his signing must have shown some type of NRL standard and SOO standard quality playing for him to be considered as a marquee signing....that's Ivan and recruitments fault not JRs...JR was injured more than any other time of his career when with us..thats the contact sport they play...he got involved in an off field drama that is (not yet proven his fault) in legal hands..
JR it can be said is not playing to his paycheck because he is coming back from injury which takes a long time after such along layoff,he is mentally drained because of his personal issues...yes he is not worth a cracker to some people at the moment..BUT do we personally ridicule and belittle him because of these things and respect the fact that he does as much as possible for the club off field while trying to regain form on field..
He has a contract,he will probably play CC this year and do his best...but CC is where he should start...not ideal for the money he is on but you cant solely blame him for that..

I can only see jr at 5/8 in first grade. If Walters and mbye share hooking role and benji gets injured jr slots straight in with minimal disruption. In the games jr has played for us he's always gone ok. I didn't see the trial but I understand he spent an amount of time at hooker. Even last year benji was a better option there
