Journo ejected from Tigers sheds

If that Journo was Rothfield , I dont blame Tim. I would have told him to do something anatomically impossible with himself. Rothfield is a complete NEVILLE. Would not suprise me in the least if this poor excuse of a journalist is on this forum muckraking.

He is constantly contradicting himself in his low class rag , and its online equivalent. Not long ago , he was knocking the Sheens knockers ? But what else could you expect from a hack from News Ltd , who has its own agenda . An organisation that single handedly nearly destroyed Rugby League , and has an unhealthy, unwanted, counter productive , clash of interests , some would even suggest corrupt presence in the game.

It wasn't Rothfield, it was Massoud, the same peanut who reckoned Jake Mullaney was all but gone from the Tigers at the end of last season.

At least he has a degree in journalism and actually knows how to report on things. I can see why you would be jealous of that.

Are you aware of the contract issues regarding Jake Mullaney?

And here in lies the truth behind the internal rumblings. I dont pretend that everything is sweet at camp concord (every family and every workplace has its disputes) but if there isn't an agenda against Sheens and Benji in particular, then theres a journo or two who have personal gripes with them at the least.

Does anyone think Ron Burgandy would make a good Telegraph journo? Sorry Ron but you've been pushing the same garbage for weeks.

There was more to this story in the Sun Herald up here in QLD yesterday. Someone might be able to find a link or post the article. It was on the inside of the back page.
Mentioned senior players not on talking terms with Sheens (Sheens said he has been prickly because the teams hasn't been performing, but thats it).
Also that some Tigers players were upset that Sheens supposedly bagged Benji in the Aussie camp (Sheens said halves always get extra attention).
Something about the boys hugging each other too, so no dramas with Rob and Benji.

Ahh, another MOTH returns. He must have learnt all sort of wonderful things during his degree, like how to fabricate stories and report inaccurate information. He'll have plenty of time to work on that now he's been banned from the Tigers dressing sheds.

Tooth - The same quotes I thionk you're talking about are in the Weidler column in the SMH below. All sounds pretty fair.
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/sheens-bristles-at-personal-attack-20100522-w2vg.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Tim Sheens has opened up about the attacks on him and Wests Tigers playmaker Benji Marshall, which resulted in a News Ltd reporter being told to ''f–- off'' out of the team's dressing room on Friday night. Sheens is convinced the destabilising of his club is part of an agenda against the pair because Marshall writes for Fairfax Media, publisher of The Sun-Herald, and has long had an uncomfortable relationship with News. Sheens also knows he has enemies and they are out to get him. ''There are people outside of this club trying to destabilise us and they have made Benji a target,'' he said. ''There is an agenda there and I am not that keen to fuel it, but I want to make it very clear that we are a tight unit. Yes, Benji was fined, but to say it caused an issue with our players is complete garbage. A journo was told to 'f--- off' out of our rooms by the players who are fuming about that. Benji was disappointed, yes - disappointed in himself and with his form. Benji doesn't do them [News] any favours so they target him and they know that we are close. The way they pulled out photos of him making mistakes was just rubbish. You can do that to any half in the competition.'' I put a number of rumours to Sheens for his comment … 1: Leading players have not speaking to you - ''Look, I have been prickly in recent weeks because we have not been winning and things have been a bit tense, but there has been no issue between me and the players.'' 2: Benji and club captain Robbie Farah have been feuding, a story which was first reported in the News media - ''What? I'd love to find out who is saying this stuff. Did you see them hugging on the field? Pure rubbish.'' 3\. You were very personal in your instructions to target Benji in the Test match and that upset Tigers players - ''I'm stunned by this. Yes, I said we had to work over the halves, but that is the case with any team I coach or anyone coaches. If you want the truth our plan was to work it down the middle of the field and direct our attack at the nine [Issac Luke] because we wanted to wear him down because he is such a dangerous player. All the players in the Test side speak about their club teammates, but not to give them up, more so pointing out their strengths and what to watch for. I didn't bag Benji at all.''

I have no problem with Sheens being taken to task in the media, because he has had a free ride for far too long,he finally gets some heat after 1 finals appearance in 14 seasons and he can't take it,only this time he can't sack the bloke like he did to Longmire.

Right, I've not been on this forum long enough to know this, whats with the acronym MOTH?

A despicable and embarrassing "fan" who use to post at the old forums got banned and went over to LU. He went by the name "Man On The Hill" He has acquired a following of brainless idiots who believe in this imbecile's thoughts. MOTH is the abbreviations of "Man On The Hill"

So everybody can have a dig at Sheens but he can't fire back?

I think its great a lot of people are asking questions and Sheens is reacting. His comfort zone is being violated. Maybe we the punter who contribute to his massive salary might get some answers why he handles his bench rotation the way he dose and why he selects certain players and why we have grossly underperformed for four and half years. Okay the jurno had a axe to grind and are just trying to sell newspaper, but the bottom line people are now asking questions and thats a good thing and all the negative press could be just the challenge Sheens needs to prove his doubters wrong

It's ok stryker. If I am reading the tone and syntax of Go You Good Things is a previously banned poster from here. He lives up Massouds ring because he thinks he gets inside tips from him.

He may have a Degree in Journalism, doesn't make him an expert . He must have scraped in with the exam !! This wannabe wouldn't cut it in the Macarthur Advitiser !! Have you seen his Blog ? My son in an autism primary school class , those kids have a wider vocabulary. He continually contradicts himself , dishes it out bat can't take critiscism , and has no idea of proper grammar. Besides all that, the guy is a big girls blouse, egomanical, muck merchant !!! :unamused:

Hey Mate,

Willow does a good job on here and is well respected by fellow members.

If you have a personal agenda, Go Blog on LU or Rothfield's Blog…

I have given up on his blog after the 4th backflip from him this year! I wasn't having a shot at Willow in any way. Im not like either of the two gentlemen from News LTD either. And I'm not having a shot at you now Watto . I was just stating my opinion. I happen to share the same opinion of those two as plenty of my friends and family & no doubt , a few people on this forum. 😕
