Journo's on Farrah

i recall these so called Journo's misleading reports , when Farrah was on tour November 2011 and they reported that he came home cause he wasn't selected , and having a sook . How far were they from the truth as he came home for his sick mum. I work in Intensive Care Unit and know 1st hand in dealing with family grief and Traumas. How sorry these journos must be reporting crap on people's confidientiality. Farrah i wanna say i love you as a role model and an inspiration to my kids , may your mum's soul rest in peace . How proud i am to be a west tiger , the minute silence demonstrated to me what a close bunch we are and that Benji and Farrah are closer than these Journos make it out to be . Rest in peace Sonia Farrah . Ive got no doubt this will hold us in good stead for the semis.

Nice post. Agree on all accounts. A lot of people talked smack over that incident. Hope they feel dirty now.

Thanks fellas just saying it how it is, to all my Tiger mates on here, Enjoy each day like its your last for we don't know what's around the corner. Lets Do it this year for Sonia Farrah , Gareth Ellis and to all Tiger lovers

They wouldn't care. As long as the story sold papers they would have slept comfortably. The most cold-hearted line of work you'll ever come across

very true , while players have to live with always trying to explaining themselves.

Very true thoughts all. How ironic today when the ground announcer read an add for the Daily Telegraph and quote "rugby league's most respected journalists". Had me in stitches!! I hope some of them feel pretty small and unimportant tonight. Nothing but trash talking cowards who sadly will probably sleep so well tonight oblivious to it all.

Spot on GNR. The Daily Telecrap especially. However I believe Ms Gillard and the rest of her minions might push a claim to most cold hearted. Goes to show though, everyone bitching about losing 6 series straight, but Farah wasnt up to origin????? How good did Buderus and the grub go over Robbie in that time??? How many series did they bring home? At least Robbie has heart!

Good point mate. :sign:

On the 8th of March I lost my mum to cancer , I struggle daily to cope with the loss. On the 9th of March we got beat by Manly and went on to lose five in a row. I know how Robbie is feeling right now , the loss of your mother is devastating and the old saying that it gets easier with time is a phallacy , you never get over the loss.
I know Sonia fought hard and was the kind of woman who would have worried more for those left behind than her next journey into the afterlife , my mum said the same to me , I struggle to understand a woman's courage , I miss her.

To Robbie I say , mate this one of the hardest things a son has to go through and I'm praying you will be OK , I really do. Don't let people give you a certain time for your grieving , nothing seems worth it at the moment but Robbie you are a fighter , you are loved by many and have the sympathy of thousands of tiger fans.

They say Balmain boys don't cry , well mate we have and many are still crying for your loss. Deepest sympathy to the Farah family from my family to yours , take your time Robbie , we will support you and love you forever.

wow well said , very sorry for your loss . Trying to console a family is one of the hardest thing to do . I'll admit i had tears in my eyes during the minute silence held my kids and told them how much i love them , never have shame in showing your feelings , for that's what you will be remebered by your loved ones.

Here is the article in Question talking about Farah and Sheens in the Four Nations. I was gonna post a link to it but I dont want to give them hits for this article, I felt sick reading it.

Farah and Sheens fallout on England tour splits the Tigers

>
THE relationship between Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens and his star hooker has broken down to the point where Robbie Farah could be forced out of the club.
>
The Daily Telegraph can exclusively reveal Sheens and Farah fell out during the recent Four Nations tour, and club officials are aware both may not be able to remain at Concord.
>
Farah has told close friends about his deepening issues with Sheens, while Wests Tigers players are openly discussing it.
>
The Tigers captain still has two years remaining on his deal but has been tenuously linked with Parramatta.
>
Wests Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys and club chairman Dave Trodden are aware of the tension between Sheens and Farah. Humphreys is becoming increasingly agitated.
>
While respected among the Tigers playing group, some teammates are becoming frustrated with Farah.
>
Farah's manager, Sam Ayoub, has discussed the situation with his high-profile client.
>
It is understood the brilliant Farah became irritated when overlooked for the major Four Nations Tests in England.
>
Aware he would be chosen behind Cam Smith, Farah still felt he could have secured a place on the bench.
>
There have been ongoing suggestions that Farah and chief playmaker Benji Marshall have a frosty relationship. Both have denied this publicly but the speculation won't cease.
>
However, it must be noted that Farah has not sought a release.
>
The Daily Telegraph left messages for Humphreys and Trodden yesterday but neither returned calls. Sheens did not answer his phone.
>
While club officials know of the Farah-Sheens drama, they remain hopeful the pair can overcome their issues. Publicly, the officials will no doubt attempt to deny the rift.
>
One source close to the Tigers said: "I am not sure they will both be there next year. I was talking to a high-profile Wests Tigers player the other day and he said teammates aren't getting on great with Robbie."
>
If pushed, the players will side with Sheens, who is contracted to the Tigers until the end of the 2014 season.
>
Farah is a matchwinner but he knows the power Sheens wields at the club.

Dean Ritchie was the author.
He should now be bombarded with mail and forced to apologize.

From Slothfield this morning:

Buzz,
I would like to know your thoughts on seeing Benji Marshall distraught at Leichardt oval yesterday - this is the same guy who suppose is not get along with Farah. I was at the game and the guy was a mess.. Your sources have it wrong on these 2 im afraid.

I certainly withdraw anything I’ve said about the pair after seeing Benji yesterday. It was a terribly sad moment.

What an Idiot.

Theres a few moronic people in the comments section of yesterdays game. I got no issue if fans from other sides want to call us soft and whatever else, but to say the performance yesterday proved we were soft just blows my mind in regards to how dumb some people can be

Sabre thanks for that . That's what i was after . Dean Ritchie has to be accountable for this and should publicly apoligise for his misleading column. I mean Dean Ritchie Quotes (i was talking to a high profile- player Wests tigers player the other day and he said teammates aren't getting on great with Robbie). Who writes such poor Journalism , it's sounds like something your teenage kid would come home and say about her group of friends in High school or something along those lines. I mean i work in a Hospital with 100's of staff (Doctor's,Nurses,Surgeons,Physios,Cleaners, Wardies, etc.) who does get along with everyone you work with , we all have different personalities. I tell you if i ever see Dean Ritchie at our game i will let him have it , big time , it will probably get me in trouble but i will tell him some home truths .

It's just for people who haven't realized yet what a farce that paper is. Print total rubbish and innuendo everyday. The hypocrisy of the journos for that paper is staggering also. No wonder sheens is prickly towards them
