JT is killing it

If we're returning on the 5th, then if we are signing anyone, you'd think it should be announced tomorrow or Tuesday, so they're ready to rock up to training come Wednesday.

no point wasting cap space on crap players. we can stay a few hundred k under the cap for the next few months and see if anyone else comes on the market, or even a midseason transfer or looking forward to 2016.

WOW so people are happy the players still like Taylor a month after joining. Even though they haven't started training (working each day together)!!!!

I hope everybody can control there excitement when player x says they have never trained as hard, followed by player y telling us how they have worked on there defence all off season.

I might sound negative, but really….............

I agree , everyone seems to be creaming their duds over the appointment of Taylor and his new coaching staff . So far we've lost a handful of players and gained a couple of nuffies . In the end it's all about winning games and from what I can gather we have not signed anyone of decent talent & we may sign a few in 2016 ? So I don't see much of an improvement next year despite who our coaching staff is .

I recall 2014 starting off with wins over Manly and Souths (to name a couple) and felt we'd have a good year. Then the board/Mayer/Farah debacle came along and that was that. I'd like to think 2015 will be good, and that JT works out. I thought that with Mick Potter. He also didn't take rubbish from anyone. We'll see. Anything is possible in Tigertown. Fingers crossed.

Thats a terrific, sneaky strategy.
I wonder why other clubs arent doing it?

So what I can take from this thread is that Irvine and Seinfeld are two Wests Tigers employees who won't be sending each other Christmas cards this year.

I can tell Stinkfield is definitely not employed by the club otherwise he would know that not one player will be sending Mayer any sort of good wishes.

Just some positive news JT is really settling in well at camp concord. He seems a very approachable and knowledgeable guy.
His style is one of helping and encouraging players and their is a real buzz about the place.
It's going to be a good year.

Oh okkkk NRL superstar.

Not sure I understand Jerries post….. But then again, I'm not sure I ever haveLol 😕
bit rich coming from Grant Mayers jock strap...

Bit hard considering Ive never met the bloke but this "jockstrap" can tell you from within the playing group they are loving the ideas and structures that MAYER has implemented.

Irvine, are you saying that the players do not think much of the club CEO.

Here Iam thinking there is stability and love within the walls of the Tigers den….....ha ha..

The players play for the coach not the CEO….they shouldn't give a rats about Mayer....

alexaki,I thought the players play for the club…

And the the coach gets paid by the club....

And the CEO is employed by the club.....

And the Board oversees everything in the club...

Yeah ok "I heard it thru the grape I mean "IR"vine  .We already smelt you out as a fake last season at training."Support" the team as much as you like but dont come on here saying you speak for the playing group when you and I both know you dont. :crazy

They dont give a rats about Mayer except for the fact that they are enjoying the changes that are made unless you are part of the deadwood in the process of being removed from the club. :sign: :sign:

Mick who???. JT has certainly done and said a lot of right things. Me I'm going to reserve my judgement till about round 12/14\. The ingredients seem good but the proof is in the pudding.

If the players play for the coach, they certainly did a poor job of it last year as the results indicate….

They would of seen that MP was under pressure from all the injuries and apparently didn't give a RATS about him or themselves for that matter...

I hope JT sorts them out, some shouldn't be getting the big dollars they are on,just maybe they will have to work a lot harder for their money....

Mayer is going along fine with the changes implemented,if the players don't give a rats about him maybe they should about the club that employs them....

Mayer certainly wouldn't put his neck( or anything else) on the line for the players , so why would the players care who is the CEO. He is not the club. And frankly , the less contact he has with the players , the better everyone will like it . Let him stick to his tweeting and donuts with Blocker…. 1.........2........3....4...........anytime now.
