What ever happened to the two unrelated Saukuru (spelling) boys? They were getting big wraps and then all went quiet.

both played Matts and Ball for Wests this year. Solomone was good for a try a week in Matts. Lomi from what I understand was pretty decent this year as well. if Wests were a bit more successful this year we would've heard about them a bit more, same story with Kautoga. still very very young and a long way out. I do think Solomone is a future first grader though. will be interesting to see how quickly he progresses through the grades.

Livai Saukuru played centre for Balmain. Is he unrelated? He is as broad shouldered as they come at that age and a brilliant athlete. Dunno if he had a good season but his highlights looked good.

Solomone is only 15.... He was swapping between centre and lock so has a bit of versatility. Both kids still in school. Might see them playing for Westfields SHS in the schoolboys comp which i think just started?

we have 3 saukuru's in our ranks - Solomon, Apisalome (Lomi) and Livai. the brothers play at Wests and Livai is at Balmain. hard to keep track of I know! I think Livai could potentially could potentially be a cousin?
